Flights within Canada are absurd because by law a Canada to Canada flight can only be a Canadian airline, thus they control the prices with no outside competition - much like our lack of outside cell phone competition in Canada with Bell and Rogers being monopolies.

36:50 no one necessarily playing “bad” but no one can look at leafs D and say that’s a playoff team. They have 0 grit in the D Mccabe has some but Gios been the only one to really show it and he’s 40. Leafs without a doubt need a guy to step up at the line, Anyone who’s ever played hockey knows it’s a lot scarier rushing the zone as hard when there’s a big hitting dman😂. Especially if you’re not that big and there’s some 6’5+ truck only wanting your head taken off.

I personally would actually move him, the lightning need a re tool, this core is done winning championships as it’s currently constructed. They have an ahl defense rn and if kuch aint scoring their fucked, as you guys said point and vasy are under 30, trade some of the old guys like hedman, stamkos mayb a cirelli or cernak and go into a re-tool. The Sabres’ additions to the bottom pair (Clifton and Erik Johnson) were weak and that’s being proved by each being scratched for rookie Ryan Johnson in the last two games. Kevyn Adams is a positive guy and that’s great for building the team over the last few seasons, but expectations are different now. He needs to prove that he can be decisive and not just watch the team hover around mediocrity and hope it’ll turn out okay.

Reaves was not the best choice but it does not mean they do not need more players that will drop the gloves . Keefe walked his comments back AGAIN that is getting as old as him running the EXACT same plays all the time , The guy is an AHL coach , ROR said Keefe would not adapt to what the other team was doing in the play offs and even Robertson mentioned the other day it was nice to be on the same line for a while and not moved every other shift . How much slack should he get before its ok to say mb Keefe is the issue ?

Gretzky, Lemieux, Howe, and Orr should not be debated with Sid. I don't think he's #5 but that's a debate worth having.

Okay, respectfully can you explain why?

    • @kurtwpg

@@JSL0202 Because Gordie was physically a force of nature. Sid is strong, Gordie was a tank. You can Google a picture of him on his boat when he was young, he looked like a 1960s bodybuilder. He was the second player to 500 goals and extended the career scoring record to double what it had previously been. 5 goal scoring titles, 6 Hart trophies, 6 Art Ross. To top it off 4 Cups in 5 years and was a pretty good WHA player after all that and in his 40s.

@@HeWhoRoamsAimlessly not really anything wrong with it but sometimes I feel like Adam wants to structure things too much and it messes with the flow of the conversation. Some of the best bits of the show were from back in the day when things would go off the rails quite frequently

thank you. So does Jesse though. They both need to realize they are the weak links on the show.

@zanderwilll I think there is just a lot of content to try and keep Straight and it's Adam's job to try to keep it on track. Admittedly I don't mind it when it completely goes A-woll though haha 😆 that would get old after a while too. Sometimes the summer shows are a bit more of a ffa
