That white relay is the horn relay. Also ALL LLVs windshields leak. You can only slow down the leak. The windshields are sealed from the inside, not outside like cars are normally made. Gruman designed the glass like their planes. When the pilot pressurizes the cabin, the windshield won't blow out. The planes windshield can leak in the rain, until again the cabin is pressurized then it will seal up and stop leaking. Also automatic car washes like to eat mirrors, so hand washing is best.
Great series of videos about this rather unique vehicle! I've always wanted a project car and after hearing bout the LLVs history I am really steered towards getting one, if humanely possible lol!
I swear I'll make more videos someday, I still daily drive her around. I do with the LLVs were made more available to the public as they are being phased out
you might do well with some suspenders! Also "No Catering Step Vans Allowed" is so very specific and that's good, cause this stepvan does mail not food. unless it's like that fish-mail you can get at Pike Pl.
I think I'd look good in suspenders tbh. The catering step van thing is to do with people cleaning out grease traps into their drains I suspect :P The irony is I didn't even notice the sign until I was editing this video
No different than any other car or truck. Just brought the title into the licensing office with the bill of sale and left with a set of plates and a new title on the way in the mail. The VIN and title are based on the GM chassis/frame that Grumman built upon, a "Chevrolet Incomplete" S10 Blazer.
I was wearing the lower half, just not the upper shoulder belt due to it digging into my neck. I've since gotten the updated seat bracket that holds it in the correct position so I can wear the upper as well 👍
They work well enough for my use, I've been meaning to replace them proper as they're not quite installed correctly. There's also an updated part number for the arms themselves to convert them to using a modern style commercial RV/Bus wiper blade that I am considering swapping over to as well.
Im surprised i havent seen it around auburn or kent !
You never know, she blends in well. Could have passed by and never have noticed 👍
2:51 He didn't have his seatbelt on and he was backing up about to fall out of the vehicle. He's lucky to not work for the postal service
Least sketchy thing I've done in an LLV lmao

the grumman is actually 7.08 feet (85 inches) tall so the fact that they cleared this is pretty amazing lol.
How did you go about getting tagged and liscenced

@@PostalDog94 thanks for the answer I was just wondering how you got it tagged and licensed
Apparently you believe that you're exempt from seatbelt laws.
