Cait makes me feel like I'm not alone. I've never really seen true depression and anxiety expressed on tv. Thank you Cait and Tyler for not hiding this.
Exactly this was too real, anyone who has been through depression and anxiety would understand. Tyler saying "a log rolling through days" ugh smh he should have just left her. Either stay in the marriage and help her attend her therapy sessions and don't let her skip i. E be a good husband. Or just break up and live your life, because he deserves to enjoy being single and have a weight of caita depression lifted off him. But you can't just stay in a marriage and resent the person tf. This is very relatable, so it's nice seeing people go through this. Tyler shouldn't have ignored Cait being in bed for more than 3 days, especially at max a week. A week is bed is the most obvious from of chronic depression, so how would you watch her for months to years and just stay quiet. He should have pulled her ass to a therapist or break up and get space.

Not perfect but recognizing signs of troubles and getting the help they need. So the cycle doesnt perpetuate. I salute these two. I was raised in a bad situation and almost didnt comeout of it. So I know how hard it can be.

That's literally what depression is, feeling like you are worthless and have no purpose to live, so a dream is the perfect antidote. Tyler isn't supportive in the right fashion, he's just standing by her and watching her drown. He should leave or tell her to go to a therapist and discuss dream jobs. Tyler has 0 job but doesn't wallow, he is just functionally depressed. If he weren't depressed, a healthy person would've left cate long ago and build a career that they love. Or a healthy person would stay with cate under the condition that she goes to therapy and get a job in a year. This is very relatable, money doesn't help and makes depression worse because then you buy all of your vices (I. E weed and food etc). Less is more when you're depressed, you need to take fun treats in small doses or you'll gain weight and smoke every second. Yet again that is very relatable

That's right Tyler help your wife. My mom suffered from depression for decades...still does actually. And my Dad was too afraid of didn't want to because she didn't want to get help and now it's almost like she's too far gone.
Catelyn is a brave and strong woman. It takes a lot to admit you feel that way and to admit you need help. She also had a very loving and supportive husband so that for sure helps.

I love this couple and their story right from the beginning, however,was shocked to find-out Catelynn smoked weed. Really suprised she did this, so poor Tyler was not only trying to deal with his Fathers addiction, but also his wifes. No wonder the guy was overcome with it all, poor man, i hope they manage to quit the drugs, and be the responsible parents they should be, for Tylers sake and the innocent children involved.

Briana Whittaker It’s really hard to even get out of bed when you feel like the world is caving in on you. Add that to anxiety and panic attacks...impossible. I had postpartum depression after I had my daughter and I was a walking zombie. It’s easy to tell people to snap out of it....I never thought depression was real until I experienced it myself and I told many people to snap out of it....but once you’re the depressed or anxious one, it’s a struggle to even get out of bed, much less go exercise and find a job, etc.

Depression is mental health at one of it's lowest positions, if you had it then you would understand how crippling it can be to mentally trap yourself in jail. Most people are just functioning depressed, and have to hide in the world but release the depression the second they step home from work. And if you saw how she grew up then you'd understand, she has severe ptsd and needs to see a therapist that can truly help her get a career. Ptsd from a hard life just leads to having daily anxiety, depression and other mental illnesses. Sad that we take physical injuries so seriously, when a broken mind is the worst disease

People dont understand a (miscarriage) is something VERY HARD to live with it took me a whole year to pull myself together after my miscarriage all i did was cry that first year and was totally shut down but i eventually went to therpay and now i cope better with it
