Linear voltage regulators like the l7805 are really inefficient and aren’t good for battery powered projects like this. Instead you should use a buck converter, like the HW-613 chip. They are a bit more expensive but they are much more efficient

This 9v battery provides 250mA max..that mean the mobile will take at least 10 hrs to full charge and for one time only after that battery voltage will drop to 7V and become useless
