The missing advantage of the RockSolid interface is that it can map to any 3rd party plugin. For me that was the key thing. Also having most of the Brainworx consoles mean that its more useful. I do agree that I want it with lights on the knobs to indicate position.
Was on this very dilemma not lo g ago. I’m glad i picked uc1, I just wish you could control other ssl style eq’s not just their own ones. I hope ssl at least continue making new plugins for the uc1, for such an expensive controller.
a good alternative, although I still don't understand why nobody adds the transport bar to really have everything at hand!!!! Console one is also missing,..... In the end, it is halfway to get rid of the "mouse" and many times you lose more time going back and forth from the mouse to the console,.... It would be a matter of allowing custom assignment functions midi,.... You could compare the SSL with the Console One, I personally don't like the SSL equalizer of the Console One!!!

look I don't know what am talking about am asking questions, I have qsc touch mix 32 channel why do I need rock solid audio Control Strip 2 or Solid State Logic 4K E Channel Strip Plug-in? my need is to have, clear, clarity, fat, dynamic, drums and better sound over all.....
Warning, I just bought a second hand uc1. , The 4kb plug-in license cannot be transferred so if you buy it second hand, you will not get the 4kb plug-in with it! Thats some real ssl shit licensing, but great hardware otherwise.
The 4000b doesn't come with it anymore. It's been swapped to Channelstrip 2. Sad since I think the 4000b looks more interesting. I only own Channel Strip 2 and Bus Compressor 2, but I have loads of channelstrips/bus compressors that I prefer before those.
all the plugins with console 1 looks weirdos. Not looking normal channnel strips. and that is important because the feeling. SSL feels right, normal and also looks the best.

Got the new Rocksolid Audio Micro 4k, great controller in midi mode and using Reaper & CSI. Works like a charm.

to be fair, the rock solid has new plugin that now uses midi instead of mouse mode. Quite cool cause you can eg. control kirchoffeq etc with it too.
True...but it's a wrapper...not ideal and no AU support yet.

The 4000e is always my go to...but with the new 360 link software I have mapped all my other channel strips to it too...👍
