Such a great story! I can't wait to see how this experiment plays out!

Very interesting breakdown. I hadn't thought about the differentiation between the decision to buy and the one to pay, and you found some direct ways to tap into it.

I absolutely love this...(and glad you are back posting videos - hopefully regularly).
Of course for her business, the act of delivering the service is marketing to other customers who see the show (FLAMES!)...
... and, of course, she may have hourly wages to pay, so if they aren't working (even by "doing marketing"), they still cost money...
... and with smart "customer management", her front-line folk will likely steer better pay-ers to the front of the line if there is one (the implied urgency of upcoming flights)...
    * How does she do price signaling? or does she?
    For you:
which you could also do (live/recorded consult with visibility to third parties for "pay what you want"), so you are getting benefit regardless of being paid directly.
Option 1 - Pay-What-You-Want - video recorded consultation, will be broadcast (suitably anonymized) - apparently limited slots per (week?)
Option 2 - $1500/hour - (or whatever doubled rate) private consultation.
I look forward to starting to see these consulting videos posted ;) - if I was back in the consulting biz, this would be super tempting.
    Trickier for a newsletter/membership model....

Hey @steven, these are great ideas. Thanks so much for the brainstorming! I do believe that Jill signals a suggested price, but I'm not 100% sure on that.

Nice idea! Might even try that!
