I really admire Mcfly they are one of the only modern bands who can really play. I know they were mainly marketed at teenage crowds and perhaps a tad tongue in cheek but the point is they wrote good songs and maintained simplicity and you can hear their early surf/rock influences in there which really do work, and this cover shows their versatility as individual musicians and it actually sounds great and they have made it sound as though they have been playing in a function band for years!
Pleasantly surprised by Danny's singing here! His ability to do the song his own way, and also bringing in some Springsteen at the end there...awesome is the word!
