since i read tony mccarrolls book my opinion on guigsy changed a lot. i knew he was a very limited bass player and founded oasis back in 91 but i didnt know he was such a pain in the ass to mccarroll.

The band wanted him to stay just because he was their mate, to the fans it would have made no difference if he left, they could have just replaced him with a better bassist
they should wake up and go again ...the new guys were great but the tension between Liam and Noel is all in the musicians line up ...Liam knew what worked with Noel's skills but Noel wanted perfection ....he would replace Johnny rotten with Mario lanza....
