- Legendary fighter/trainer Roger Mayweather, trains female sensation Mikayla "MK Ultra" Nebel.After having gained the reputation as the best, most ripped off fighter in boxing, "MK Ultra" says enough, closed down her boxing gym, and moved to Las Vegas to train under the tutelage of Mr. Mayweather. Mr. Mayweather is without a doubt the Greatest trainer alive.

Roger's mitt system is more then paddy cake or pitty pat as some people claim. It is a system designed to develop proper reflexes and coordination. The thing that most people don't realize, which Roger clearly demostrated in this video, is if you don't get it right you will get hit. If you don't keep you hands up and if you don't block when you're suppose to, you will get smacked...

Exactly. What he and Floyd do he doesn't do with anyone ele. Floyd is a master and has surpassed the normal padwork routine. they have a special routine that would probably only work for Floyd since he's been hitting pads since he was a kid.

Roger Mayweather trains his students like a martial arts instructor. What the Mayweathers do is like the drill sticking hands, from wing Chun, for boxers. This is why Mayweather Jr in my eyes is TBE. He always fights a tacticians fight weather it's a counter or a vicious knockout, he will get the job done. We've seen him use the high guard, open guard, in side hook, right hand- right hand, fight on the front foot, shoulder roll, jab. He's mastered tricks that boxers don't even think about.
ive been thinking the same thing for years, you can call him a grand master of western wing chun black style....the only way you will beat them is if your mit work is as good or better....someone needs to develop one baised on theirs but like Martial Arts it will take another 30 yrs to develop and teach and error and fix and perfect

Beautiful! You can really see the purpose of this drill. Keeping the boxer under a bit of pressure while barking out commands and making them pay with just enough on the counters that it's more annoying that hurting if they don't stay focused and on their game and keep their fundamentals tight.

The Mayweather system is about training reaction time and defense next. That's how fencing is done and every martial arts out there there. That's how Floyd beats his opponent everytime.
What annoys me with other noob trainers is that instead of offering a target for you to punch they offer a fulĺ blown collision. Look at Roger and Floyd Sr. they just give it a smooth tap at the most and the rest is a mimicked punch for you to defend.

Ricardo Jalil You don't always train power. Power is probably the easiest of all boxing fundamentals to develop. Anyone can learn to throw their weight into a knockout haymaker, but throwing like that is a good way to get knocked out. She's learning a high level of coordination and timing while being pressured in the pocket.
That depends on your style. Mike Tyson threw power with every punch he threw. Bruce Lee's philosophy on training and fighting was to always give it 100% and throw your punches with conviction. In my opinion that is the effective style but everyone is different

bruce lee didnt train for points or for endurance in sport. bruce lee was about training for life and ending the situation as quickly and as efficiently as possible so throwing power with conviction would be the ideal thing to do if you have to "strike" in a real life situation to end a motherfucker. strike in quotation because not every situation will call for a strike.
