Hey Karina! You can make the cake topper out of a thick cardstock, but only the Maker can cut the chipboard. For the Explore, if it's too flimsy, cut the same image out several times and glue them together to make them thicker. ☺ Thanks so much for watching!!
I did this as well. The thing is that I did a backing and tried to mirror it so when then look at the back it he picture and lettering is reversed. But the back didn’t mirror. Is there a way to do that? Thank you
@@KimByers I’m cutting a silhouette of a bride and groom and under is is our last name and on top of that is the mr and Mrs. When I mirror it my last name is backwards as well as the mr and Mrs.
@@Kikiworld2022 Is the design all connected as one element? Or are you cutting them individually? I've never done this before... hmmm... I'd have to play in Design Space to figure it out. What materials are you using for the backer?
I’ve thought it through and I don’t think it’s possible unless you use two sided pattern paper, because anything you attach needs to be facing the same direction. Mirroring will not work because it won’t match up. Sorry!!!
Hey there Y! If I recall, this font is called Monday or Tuesday. It would be a free font on the web. I never pay for fonts. 🙃 If you just search google it should pop up for you! Cricut also has some similar fonts that are lovely. Thanks so much for watching and happy cake topper making! 💕😊
Can I make this with the the Cricut explore air?

Thanks so much for this! Is the white mat board you're using to cut out the sign thicker than cardstock you would say??
Savanah - it is. It's a photo mat board, like you use for framing. Thanks for watching!

Hey there! So you made a separate cut of the design to place on the back? And you used the mirror button when reviewing the mat? What are you cutting?

@@KimByers I weld the whole thing after I created my project. I’m using card stock in the back (about 6 papers) and the front is glitter card stock.
