Well here a small info about Albion that u might love to know
"Each and every items from Weapons, Armors, mounts, food, poisons, capes, etc etc are all crafted by real players. Well u may ask on how u get loot from chests/drops all over the map, yes even these are crafted by players. There is a Don in the caerleon city called the black market and crafters sell their items there and the Don distributes them all over the world. So when u come across a mob dropped weapon, cleck on the weapon and check it's top right and it will say who crafted it."
As a crafter myself, the crafting system is really really indepth, like I've never seen a game with this much indepth crafting system, it can literally change on how the game plays, no cap

Also it's funny when u say the combat is not fun.
No shit, the combat is WAY MORE indepth and requires even more skills than something like league of legend.
Just search up "Nah Albion" and watch their latest video montage. U will know

Ik Albion is not everyone's cup of tea but I'll write something here so that people don't get a wrong idea of this game
It's not just straight crafting. Gatherers gather (gathering gets a lot harder once u level up higher tier gathering, there's Nodes, road gathering, enchanted resources, map specific resources, black zone gathering etc), then refiners refine these gathered resources (each city in the royals has bonus for different kinds of resources, like the city Thetford has 40% return rate bonus to refining ore to bars, so it's ideal for refiners who refine ore to bars to bring unrefined ores from Fort sterling city since there's a lot of ores around that city > craft in Thetford for the bonus return rate > Transport the refined resources to a city that has more needs for bar), then crafters craft things from these refined resources and specific artifacts (there r various types of crafting like safe City crafting, high risk high reward hideout crafting, black market crafting etc etc, it's too indepth to go over in a text)
That's just for the chill gameplay part.
Then for PvP it's a whole another story - Corrupted dungeon, static dungeon diving, ganking, 2v2-5v5-10v10 hellgates, arena, crystal arena, zvz, territory conquer, castle outpost, black zone small/medium/big chests etc etc etc.
For pve, there's solo dungeon, group dungeon, road chests (green/blue/gold), ava raids, hce(raids), open world fame farm, static fame farm.
Since its a sandbox, most of the fun don't really come from these pre scripted contents, it just comes naturally.
Like the mount Mammoth is the most expensive thing in the game and there is this boss that spawns randomly in the black zone that always drop 1 mammoth cub and has a chance of dropping upto 3 cubs. Like 1 week ago, one of our guild member said that he saw the boss while roaming and called us, 17 of our guild members joined party and we called our friend guild and we were a total of 30 players not only trying to defeat this boss in the open world but also getting into zvz between other large party that were there to kill the boss too. Ultimately we won after 1 hr war/brawl between all big local guilds and got 2 mammoth cub that's worth 330M in total. Out guild was just 1 month old and defeating bigger zvz guilds and winning over that boss with 2 cub drops were some of the best moments

The video is really well done though i strongly disagree. Lemme explain
Valheim is amazing for the same reason you mentioned: it pushes you to progress by giving you a clear objective (kill that boss) to get to the point in which you can try to kill a boss, you need to collect resources.. right? Well you described albion online the same way i would describe valheim if i say: it's a game in which you just collect resources to get better tools to collect more resources. It's true.. but it's really not what Valheim is about.
Same with albion, you focused on the initial grind. believe me when i tell you that i don't remember the last time i did that, i don't remember the alst time i've grinded in albion, once you get past that learning bump the gameplay unlocks like crazy. And to be fair if you got blocked by that bump you didn't understand what the game is about.
And i get it, as a new player it can be confusing, but so far you've only did:
    1. solo dungeons
    2. gathering
you didn't do anything else, and trust me there are a lot of options... just to name a few:
    1. roads of avalon
    2. avalonian chests (solo group or big group ones)
    3. resource hotspots
    4. hunting for aspects
    5. world bosses
    6. mammoth hunting
    7. corrupted dungeons
    8. hellgates
    9. group dungeons
    10. HCE's
    11. Faction warfare
    12. the bandit assault
    13. crafting
    14. farming on your island
    15. ganking solo
    16 group ganking
    17. zvz's
    18. avalonian dungeons
those are just some of the things you can do.. 3 days ago a new update released which added:
    1. a new continent basically with a city and a bunch of zones
    2. mists for solo/duo players
    3. a whole rework for the roads of avalon
    4. new armors
    5. new resource
    6. new reasons for giant wars
You see what i mean? you described this game in terms of: "ohh you just grind.." Which is true, but valheim is also grindy, the way to make a grindy game work is by giving you a good reason to grind.. well i gave you 18 :D
Don't get me wrong, i do agree with the fact that as a new player you cannot possibly know this if the tutorial doesn't show it to you... and they should really update the tutorial..
And you still did a great job at producing this video :D
I'd say give the game another shot and possibly take a look at the content i've been making for this game (or the content of other content creators such as: Equart, leyvi, kokosmilch, flacidbarron etc...) it will show you where the fun is :D

Wow! Thanks so much for such a detailed comment as you've literally explained a lot more than initially was given by the game 😂
Indeed, I'll definitely return to the game sometime in the future to make a follow-up video 😎
And I appreciate you watching, thanks a lot 🙏

@@CtrlAlexDel no worries! You really did a great job with the video overall, it was really fun to watch😄😄
For me albion quickly became my favorite game whenever i discovered the freedom it provides.. like let me give you an example with the build/class system
Let's say you want to become a fighter. At first you have access to t2-3 items which are not great and don't have abilities. Basically you have to play with symple weapons (a sword, an axe.. etc)
Then you get t4 (basically you level up) all of a sudden it's not just 1 sword, there's 7.. and each plays totally different. Then you level even further, you get higher tier items but also more abilities. All of this applies for every single gear piece you equip except the cape.
The customisation ends uo being comparable to poe's customisation but more manageble
But yeah, at this moment with the tutorial the game has it's almost impossible to know this without guides.. they really need to fix this

Bro, this game is very beginner unfriendly. The fastest way to understand this game and progress is to join a guild with experienced players. if u have enough experience u can get premium in less than 1 hour from start for ingame currency. watching u play allmost made me mad lmao

    • @CtrlAlexDel
      @CtrlAlexDel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Sorry about that haha 😂 I specifically aim to play such games casually and without any external help to check how the game treats newcomers. Though I appreciate you agreeing that Albion is not among the friendliest for the noobs. You play a lot? How's your experience with it?

@@CtrlAlexDel Well i have around 2k hours, this game is realy good once you understand it. And allot of the main content in albion is group based so i recomend u joining a guild. There is allot of different types of guilds and alliances, so if u casual or tryhard its fine. Allmost everything u do in this game requieres discord trading, farming, pvp, pve

bro, there's a lot of content to do in Albion. The most exciting part is the full loot pvp in Blackzones(full loot zones). I almost play it for 2 yrs and it's really exciting to play. Not pay to win also, i managed to avail premium using only the in game silver from pure grind as a gatherer, i maxed out all gathering professions. And the island that ur talking about, its not really necessary to have that. Try to explore more or maybe this game is really not for you.

Thanks for watching! Understood, thanks for sharing the info. Tbh I'm not that big fan of pvp but I'll def return to the game sometime in the future to make a follow up vid :)

  • @chipsarenice8046
    @chipsarenice8046 2 ปีที่แล้ว

This video is Very well put together good job but you should really research how to play because there this so much content to do and you are legit running t3 gear in t4 zone 😂 with no proper pve gear

    • @CtrlAlexDel
      @CtrlAlexDel  2 ปีที่แล้ว

Thanks! 🙏 I mainly avoid researching outside sources and guides to see how the game itself explains its mechanics and shows what to do. As I plan on returning to the game in the future, I'll def research some more but this vid is intended to show my first impressions and experiences just playing casually :)

You need to look up guides gathering isn’t good until you get your own island and farm land, open world mobs give best loot and xp for new player the dungeons and doing daily’s and joining faction give more xp you need to kill mobs to level up fast and start getting into tier 8 and straight pvp full loot kills high stakes. Gathering is the worst thing to do open world killing mobs at tier 5 and farming that upgrading gear and make alt characters for specific roles like a pvp character then a gathering one then one for safe zone mob killing👍 you need to look at swole benji vids makes everything easy

Swole benji updated beginners guide will clear things up
