You must speak Ukrainian, because no actual person who doesn't know a language would prefer to read closed captions while he should be watching a screen. I understand Ukrainian and not every dialogue in this game is best in Ukrainian, in fact, some of it is outright depressing. Like when you talk to Hamster in Zalissiya, and in English he sounds cheery and endearing, and in Ukrainian he sounds like the man going through war. The reality is that not every part of the dialogue is best, and some of the dialogue reflects people's actual mindstate, an Ukrainian voice actor will have a sense of despair during the times of war in Ukraine, and the English voice actor perhaps is happy as can be living in peace. That flavor of dialogue is not always happy or enjoyable to me. I don't want to be depressed in the game. Some of the dialogue though reminds me of happiness that Ukrainians used to have, that family endearing energy even to people they don't know. I turned voice actors to English and called it a day.

as somebody that has 85 hours in it, I advise you not to play it, it will consume all your free time and more, and I have just scratched the surface of the game, with mods this is insane, I'll play this for another 800 hours probably. So i you dont want to end up like me, DONT PLAY IT

Ragdolls are fantastic, makes the combat satisfying. Much better than hand crafted animation that just fall where they die, no matter what they are blasted with.

Its a great game. Played it for 2 hours stopped but one day I was like I like the look and transversal and I played it until I platinumed the game. Holy cow the spiders thread school is creepy as heck, there was always that creepiness and alertness when you entered homes but the school was crazy

my only problem with Jedi fallen order is that trash map I could not use it because it made no sense so i said fuck that shit map and i beat the game 4 times and then could not play it anymore because i got lost all 4 times and i never use that map because its trash they should have updated the game with a better map does this game have that same type of trash map I hate maps like that u cant use maps that is shit because they map no sense

ah, torchlight 2. i still love this this game, even if my sensory issues make the mouse difficult to use. theres a loooot of clicking. anyway, level gating doesnt actually exist. you can still enter the area, still complete it all. its just the expected level that you are reasonably supposed to be at. my solution was that you clear the main areas completely first, and *then* do the side dungeons, which are usually of a higher level. once i did that, my leveling issues were solved. oh, and you can reroll maps if you make a LAN world. i... probably should have told you earlier, but, whoops. sorry about that...

Very disappointed on how mixed people felt about this game or even the hate it got… I love this game… I’m currently replaying it on my ASUS ROG ALLY X and playing the survival mode on PS5. It’s a beautiful game and needs a sequel for sure… very underrated

To me, the biggest thing that kept this game from being really good was the writing and world building.

I am playing thru right now. Loving it. Game is gorgeous and very fun. Like the colorful and yet kinda creepy atmosphere. This game deserved better.

No the gas is repetitive the characters are one note and boring the “villain” is so boring that I forgot his name shit I don’t remember anyone’s name I appreciate the game for all the Japanese folklore and stuff but other then that this game was a waste of time and money

You are out of your mind

BG3 was well written and didn't try preaching to their audience about our earthly problems while being inclusive. Hogwarts was also well written and introduced their transgender character respectfully without making the player feel like a bigot. Cyberpunk just lets you pick your genitals that can only be seen in the menu and has nothing to do with being inclusive, so ya'll should stop using that as an example of inclusivity. Veilguard appears (based on these reviews) poorly written and speaks down on their audience while preaching about pronouns, forcing the gamer to watch these scenes as they play. This implies the developers think YOU the player need to be coached about an issue so small compared to what the gay community has faced throughout existence, an issue that really doesn't need to be pointed out this obviously to the audience anyways. And again, these are earthly problems....I didn't play BG3/Hogwarts/Cyberpunk to be reminded of earthly issues. A good game helps you escape reality for a fleeting moment, because reality fucking blows. If they wanted to include a non-binary character - they could have simply just referred to them as they/them the entire time, letting the audience piece that together themselves, maybe add it in some background lore. They could have focused on the characters actual personalities and feats of heroism, building their story up properly, instead of making them look like a whiny teenager. They could have focused on writing a better story, instead of a cheesy public service announcement. If you want to be inclusive...then, just do it without the pandering. It's really not hard to do. But no, they have to point it out and cram it down the players throats and make you feel like you're the problem that this has to even be put into a video game to get the message across. And for that, no - I will not pay full price for it. I'll wait and play it on sale.

The problem that some people seem to chose to ignore- Which is the main thing "on the other side" is that most people doesnt mind incluisivity and diversity its the forcing of it that people doesnt like. And majority of the time when its forced, it effects the game/movie/show and lowers the quality of everything else, because the focus is on "wokeness". Like the top surgery scars 1. In a world with magic, why would you chose to have top surgery scars if your whole thing is to present as male and have people see you as such. Wouldnt chosing to have top surgery scars kind of negate that whole thing? 2. In a world of magic, if you felt you where born in the wrong body. Wouldnt you just use magic to present yourself as the other gender? You know, just be the other gender. Aka, just chose one of the two biological genders that you want to play as. 3. Skipping that whole thing. If you wanted top scars to just be part of the game/story and not use it as some kind of virtue signal, wouldnt top scars just be part of the selection of all other scars. You know, making it as nothing special, just something that is an option. Instead of setting as an on/off toggle. Or even better, lessen the amount of scars in the scar pool but let people move them around and change them. So people that want top scars can just chose to make them. And those who doesnt, dont even have to see that its an option. Hard to virtue signal that way though. Pronouns. Sure. its a very small thing and most people dont really care about it that much. Personally find it silly. But if people need to feel special or wants to chose to be victims, sure use other pronounce if you want. If you get upset about pronounce or the incorrect use of it, you are the problem. Pronounce mean something, only if you let it. If you chose to give it power, YOU chose to give it power. Which in turn if you get upset about the incorrect use of it, its you who chose to be a victim instead of just shrug it off as it effects people in no other way then mentally. The issue is that you have a whole scene in the game about missgendering and pronoun use. Which hasnt been a thing in the games before and is something taken not from the dragon age world, but from the real world. And majority of people dont conform to pronoun use and play games to get away from the daily stuff in normal life. Like politics. And people more and more, chose to not support things with their wallets. Thats why the saying "go woke go broke" is a thing. Because the wast majority of consumers dont want that stuff in real life, much less in the products they consume. In the end. If you support a product buy it. If you dont, dont buy it. And if you are part of the majority, you will be part of what makes a product succeed or fail. Pandering to a minority that not even most of them use your product. Is just bad bussiness

I couldn't disagree more. Not only is the story absolutely godawful, but the combat and progression is soulless and painfully repetitive & mediocre. Enemy/combat mechanics, boss design, movement and battle mechanics, production quality, all of these things come across as extremely low effort and generic in this game. The only way I could see anyone enjoying Veilguard is if they actually like the game's story or they're bored enough to find the combat engaging, which speaks to their own lack of media literacy and low standards.

i noticed something. you never made a video on torchlight 2. its an older game, but, to me, it refined the ARPG genre from what diablo 2 did.

Take a sub, it's kind of rare to see game channels release full videos walking back takes on games while the controversy's still ongoing. I've been enjoying Veilguard, my daughter loves watching the game too like watching an action movie almost and she loves the characters and it's getting her more into fantasy and gaming. That's easily worth it for me.

Recently bought it for $8, thank god, it's such a downgrade in every aspect, compared to Arkham games, I don't understand Rocksteady already made all these characters playable in Arkham Knight, WB Montreal should've used same engine and focused on 4 Player Coop in openworld. What a waste 😅

I remember getting it in PS4 when it was available via PS Plus. Was it bad? No. Was it good? Eeeeh. With that said,i dont blame anyone for the initial reaction, because the launch was... Questionable.

The game was fine. Not great but worth a single play through.

I have to say when I first bought it a couple years back I hated it but when I actually learned how to play it I had a blast and couldn't put it down I just wish I had more turn down to be one of my favorite games

This game was bad and failed for a lot of reasons. Story was mediocre and filled with plot holes, main characters were very unlikeable and unnecessarily obnoxious, combat was so easy that you did not have to do a thing to win even on the hard difficulty, the guns were practically useless and had no real impact, there were uninterruptible attack that just did damage form an enemy that you could see until it bit you and it could do this attack multiple times in a row taking a ton of health from you, healing was not fluid and it completely ruined the pacing of the game, you couldn’t (when the game released) listen to audio recordings while walking, the atmosphere was lacking hardcore, the enemies all looked the same and generic with no real variation, the environment looked something out of saw movie rather than and actual prison, the crafting was so lack luster I can’t even remember how it worked, the game had no replay ability, and people who say you do not like it just because it is not Deadspace must not remember that they promised us a better experience that Deadspace. These are the guys that made the cinematic masterpiece that was Deadspace. The over sold and under delivered hardcore on this game. It was a buggy mess when it came out the frame rates drop constantly, and the loading triggers where you travels through tight places was so oblivious and jarring that it hurt the pacing of the game again. To give this game credit for anything is to give triple A gaming a pass just because they are triple A. Do not do this please, it just encourages triple A and excuses to be garbage for future titles.
