We all can dance every style, if we Love it, because there is no border...great docu, showing light and shadow of the past and the present and of course the future.......such is Life! 🙏
This documentary highlights the intertwined history of Cuba, Spanish West Indies and the Republic of Haiti, Hispaniola, French West Indies. The history of Haitians and Cubans can be learned more about from read Ada Ferrer's Freedom's Mirror: Cuba and Haiti in the Age of Revolution.
This is only about Cuba and Haiti. Stop always trying to fucking including PR and DR within that relationship. It's annoying. I don't hear yall talk about Haiti when it's about PR and DR with Cuba.
This is what I hear. How about Bullerengue Sentao. Was playing Bullerengue Sentao for a group of Puerto Rican ladies and they loved it, and we're up and dancing. So was the Taina from Holguin. In Colombia they believe it comes from Western Africa, and American music of the Blacks lack much in African rhythm. I do say American has the Palmas and call and refrain as all African based music. The music of the Caribbean is so good. I especially love Cuban music.
