Really weird seeing this place & you guys walking around it in this state. The part of the building that looked like a building site was being rebuilt after a major fire in that part of the hotel . Keep doing what you do so interesting.

Looks like the ground floor over the lake may have flooded at one point with the water damage up the walls. When you went upstairs the contrast was incredible. Hope they can renovate it as it's in a pretty prime location.

Marvellously time lads I bet the locals are up in arms they will have tried to block this from being built and lost then they closed it well abandoned the place now they are trying to revive the place. Do you think that the person that owns the place has forgotten about still paying someone to be there during the revamp which ended along time ago or was someone just living in that part of the complex and using the power that's still connected?
I actually stayed in this hotel in 2012. GroupOn cheap night. It seemed at the time it was a bit desperate for business. There had been hardly anyone there, when we stayed. It wasn’t terrible, but it was very lacking. We actually stayed in circle but of the hotel that sits more on the water. Very cold and there was a smell of damp before it shut down.

That place was bloody mahoosive wasn't it, seemed to go on forever ! Bet that was a beautiful hotel as reception looked pretty classy. Having breakfast on those little balconies and a glass of wine at night must have been lovely, so peaceful 😍. What a shame its all just going to rack and ruin eh. Millions of pounds just rotting away, bloody tragic really. Cracking find Alex and Ed, love my Sunday nights with you guys x 😘
