If the Colts had GONE FOR it the FIRST time on 4th down instead of playing cute & trying to draw the Texans offsides, I bet they would have gotten the first down. Instead, the Colts played cute, the Texans didn't bite, and the Colts had to call timeout. This is the rsult of the 2nd 4th down play AFTER the timeout.

As a colts fan, I’m not even that mad that we lost, we didn’t deserve to be in this position anyway, but I’m more mad that we ended it ourselves and it’s very clear that we need more talent in our secondary.

This is why the ball placement for QBs is critical. Could he have caught it? Yes. Should the ball have been thrown to a better spot and not behind the reciever? Definitely.

I am so amped after this close and tough game against the Bears today and sending us to the playoffs against the Cowboys! Another plus, Jordan struggled a bit early in the year and started to really heat up and show his confidence. All of that while remaining healthy and leading this team on offense.
I do agree with the masses that Minshew missed, but you just can’t drop that ball. I actually like the call, unlike some people I’ve heard. Taking Taylor out of the game made the defense guess a lot more. A nobody out of the backfield in shotgun probably made it seem to HOU that he’d be blocking. It was a smart idea, but both guys just blew it. The pressure of that situation can’t be understated either, though. Really happy for Houston, but I feel for you Indy fans. Brutal end to a surprising season.
That is a really hard catch to be fair. Momentum is pushing you forward and to turn around and try and catch that.... really tough. Very few pros would be able to and he isn't a receiver, so don't be to rough.
