this would be a great way for game designers to get amazing graffiti in their games. more realistic that way. hire graffiti artists to do the graffiti and with programs like this its already digital. also the artist gets the credit for their work. some developers just use photographed graffiti in their games. but this means the artist doesn't get recognition for their work.
The graffiti can just be done on paper with markers it doesn’t always have to be a spray can. Also the graffiti that they photographed would already credit the artist since they were probably writing their tag
Graffiti writers have been paid to put artwork in games for years, not to mention the games literally about graffiti featuring real writers. It's almost like photoshop exists or something.

The stove tracking on this is soooo good, just the attention to detail when this was made is impressive you can tell that the core mechanics came from a place of passion.
The process was far from perfect, but the end result was still fresh. I'm guessing most of the problem was just the fact that his real life can control doesn't translate perfectly to the game, but his process and ideas are universal which allowed him to end up with a good piece anyway.
Great and practical tool to practice new designs with! You might even be able to rig some sort of faux-paintcan feel by somehow putting a paint can around the remote and by pressing the nozzle it triggers the right button in the game for that added realism factor!

Also not erasing and re-drawing. Paint is limited IRL and that’s why Graffiti is so styalized because if you mess up and make a letter distorted you just work with it.

This will NEVER give you the same thrill as doing it for real because half the fun of graff is the thrill of potentially being caught, its what gets your adrenaline up and makes every sense you have heightened, its a great tool to practice and have fun with on a weekend, but it will never be able to replace graffiti irl, it just won't, this is just a really good and fun version of a blackbook/sketchbook
