i totally agree! classical and traditional forms of dance is not easy at all! and it does irk me when people in society say such things like "oh you just get up and dance, you dont need a guru for dance!" they'll not understand ever. thank you for such a beautiful video! truly inspiring
Taniya di tumi thik bole6o. People here always look down dancers as its an unworthy subject but they forget that foreign artists come India for higher education in their field just like we Indian go outside in the field of science and other "Merit based subject". So it's our efforts and success that we have made the infrastructure in art field so strong. Still we are underestimated..
Beautiful and so explained with true feelings and true words coming right from ur purity in dedication towards Bharatanatyam. I m also a discipline of the same form could connect so seemlessly to ur thinking
I wonder why people should look at it the way you want them to see. People look at stuff which is easily understandable. It takes lot of effort to understand the meaning of Bharatanatyam where as Bollywood songs/dance are easy to grasp for everyone. The same applies to vedas. No one understands them. Its not their mistake. After some experience I came to a conclusion that it is futile to talk to people who are into materialistic world. Let them dive into material stuff, they will recognize it one day when they reach extremes of materialism. Infact they are all part of Gods consciousness.
Isn't true for any profession involving dedication and commitment? A holistic approach takes a professional to dizzying heights assimilating streams of knowledge from all quarters!
