I am so bad at ORGANIZING, these tips are so good and I like the tip about breaking a room into sections and organizing one section at a time. I think doing it that way will keep the task from becoming overwhelming. Thanks for that great tip, Liz!
The colorful duct tape hack is a winner! I used this when I moved last year and the trucks were unloaded in under two hours! Unpacking took less than a week! FYI- we moved from a 3000 sf home into a 2200 sf flat. I highly recommend this hack to any moving!
Thanks for the tape idea! I think I am going to use it for storing seasonal craft supplies. A different tape for each season. I am trying to learn to organize better this year
I did a variation of the duct tape hack when we moved 6 years ago. I sealed my boxes with the correct florescent colored duct tape and then taped a piece of paper in the same color to the side that listed all the items in the box. I would just pack a box, then type up everything in the box before sealing, print on the correct color paper, tape to the side of the box (so I could see it even if the boxes were stacked), and then seal. Everyone put the boxes in the appropriate rooms thanks to the color coding key AND I didn't have to spend hours searching for items since I had the items listed on the boxes and on my computer. It saved so much time!
Organization. I definitely need to tackle my bedroom, I use half of it as my craft room. I did under my kitchen sink and restroom. I love the clear double stackable bins. Will definitely buy some of those. Thank you for the awesome tips.
I definitely need to start ORGANIZING!! Have you ever tried the konmari method? I have tried it and it does work pretty well except when it comes to if you are a saver?? I feel guilty about throwing out so much money lol. Idk what is the best tip for purging. They are all hard. Love this video. It did spark another flame to declutter 😉

A tip for your partial nail sets: I use the little clear organizers from Dollar Tree that have multiple little squares in it. (I think it's by the tool section maybe for screws and stuff.) When I put on a set, I take out all the leftovers and organize them by size in the container. I get rid of the ones that are too small for me and keep the rest including the larger ones that I can cut down (I'm frugal like that😉). It makes it easy to see what sizes and colors I have and I can easily mix and match sets for some fun manis! I only keep COMPLETE sets in their original boxes.
Please do an affordable kids too organization video. 😩That's where we struggle! Everything we've tried gets broken or is too difficult for the kids to do on their own. They are 7 & 2 for refer. We personally don't have a "play room" so their rooms get destroyed daily. Any type of tips would be appreciated in this house. ❤❤❤

I agree about tackling one small space at a time. Starting yesterday, I’ve already cleaned/organized 3 small spots in my house! Also, I was already using a chalk writer to put expiration dates on containers. BUT, I didn’t think about putting the date on the bottom. Rather, I was putting it on the side so it showed. I like putting the date on the bottom better. Thanks for that suggestion.
I really like the idea of having your microfiber cleaning cloths in one color. Makes for easy identification. I also like what you did in the drawer and lower cabinet in the bathroom hutch. Looks good and everything is easy to find. Love all the glass containers too!
QUICK HACK FOR THOSE XTRA BIG and TINY LEFT OVER FINGER NAILS... I am crazy about fake toenails, so I use leftovers for them. Just a little snipping and filing. Gets the job done!! Matching and saving money...COUNT ME IN 😘
My favorite is the different color masking tape on boxes! I'm moving soon, so I'll be using this! Thank you!
