I always enjoy your creations. For me I just about always like yours over the original pieces. This time I do have a favorite it is num 1. I never thought of using potpourri like that before. Does it have a strong odor? Tyfs and smashing the box.
I think it was number 3 the door stop... Love the marbling technique. I would of beefed up the nautical rope tho, say with the one you cut off the balls. Dollar tree❤

I love # 1 I have made a few trays Painting them with a base color to match the room they are going in Then painting them over with a white or cream chalk paint Lightly sand to desired look. Then I add a piece of scrapbook paper to the bottom Do not glue I get a piece of a thin piece plastic cut to fit in the tray For lay it in The paper can now be changed for holidays ext Style as desired I use a 3 or 5 dollar Tray from DT They are usually 12” wide and the paper fits Match as you would wallpaper or paint a 1/2 inch stripe on sides or edges before laying paper You can add fancy handles as desired 😊
I have that exact wooden tray. I find it years ago at Goodwill. Someone had used plaster of Paris and marbles to give it a mosaic look. My husband got a piece of clear plastic and cut it down to fit inside the tray. I use it on my coffee bar to hold my glass jars with our coffee supplies.
I'd say 1 and 3 were my faves. also a big fan of using those boxes as shadow boxes or shelving on the wall. Can i hire you to come figure out my tiny space new house? lol kidding not kidding

A pre-k teacher I work with used the trays for Lego’s. She glued one of the Lego grids to the inside then the kids could build on the grid and if they wanted to move or save their project the pieces stayed within the tray. I thought it was such a great idea I did it at home! I used clear acrylic trays I found at target for a few bucks.
I loved the dollar tree version of the doorstop,it looks more like marble than the expensive one does!
Great ideas! Tip on command strips: cut in half lengthwise when doing a light weight hanging item! They go farther and save a little!😊
