I'm not a musician, but I am a serious listener-for many, many years. What I heard in your playing is genuine musicianship that not many in my opinion ever find. Your interpretation of all the nuances is masterful. Music is not about how fast or how loud one can play, but how well one interprets the feeling of the music. Really wonderful playing. The Beethoven first movement was very "capricious", excellent skills in the Rachmaninov (this etude has a reputation for being notoriously difficult) and great atmosphere in the Liszt. Very varied programme. Judging by the clapping the audience wanted you to return for another bow!

Beautiful!! I found your channel last week. One of the videos of you playing the piano moved me to tears. I'm battling two rare, painful illnesses. My husband suddenly passed away last yr at a young age and now my mom is the hospital from a stroke. I'm in so much pain. Maestro George Harliono. your performance of "The Hunt" is beyond breathtaking; followed by the severely, darkly contrasting "Red Riding Hood," from Rachmaninoff's oeuvre, which was just astounding. The Tchaikovsky Nocturne was quite heartrending and reflective, a lovely bonbon; whereas, the Bach Prelude and Fugue in C minor(my favorite Bach, BTW) was articulated supremely well. The Chopin Etude, "Sunshine" shone ever so brightly, meridional in its realization. Liszt's Harmonies du Soir was profound under your very apt and evocative dynamic range and intuitive interpretation. I for one immensely enjoyed and appreciated your glowing, glittering performance here. Bravissimo Maestro George Harliono!

Hello. The entire performance was beautiful and full of musical details that only a pianist as sensitive as you can play. I have so many parts that i could choose as my favourites. Fantastic performance! You were the best contestant at this year's competition, head and shoulders above the rest. My personal favourites from the first round are Beethoven and Bach, but the entire set is sublime. Congratulations!
What an incredibly played performance of all of these pieces. Your command of the counterpoint and chordal colors is very good, indeed! I enjoyed the Rachmaninoff Etude the most, but I love almost all of his pieces! I hope you have an excellent future career and get your Steinway D!

All so beautiful, but Liszt at the end is my favourite. So expressive, I could feel your emotion in it. Love the Rachmaninoff as well, so convincingly played!
Initially, I wasn't a fan of this pianist when I saw his posts on Instagram before the competition. However, his performance during the competition completely changed my perspective, and I am now a big admirer of his talent. In my opinion, he truly deserved the first prize. Nevertheless, the absence of the top award doesn't diminish his skill; in my eyes, he's already the best, regardless of the prize he received.

Beautiful!! I found your channel last week. One of the videos of you playing the piano moved me to tears. I'm battling two rare, painful illnesses. My husband suddenly passed away last yr at a young age and now my mom is the hospital from a stroke. I'm in so much pain. Your music n classical music are getting me through each day. as I'm now alone in the house. All the composers for the pieces you play are my favorites. Rach 3 is my favorite piano concerto among many. ❤

Maestro George Harliono. your performance of "The Hunt" is beyond breathtaking; followed by the severely, darkly contrasting "Red Riding Hood," from Rachmaninoff's oeuvre, which was just astounding. The Tchaikovsky Nocturne was quite heartrending and reflective, a lovely bonbon; whereas, the Bach Prelude and Fugue in C minor(my favorite Bach, BTW) was articulated supremely well. The Chopin Etude, "Sunshine" shone ever so brightly, meridional in its realization. Liszt's Harmonies du Soir was profound under your very apt and evocative dynamic range and intuitive interpretation. I for one immensely enjoyed and appreciated your glowing, glittering performance here. Bravissimo Maestro George Harliono!
As you well know George, I love hearing you play but today was a somewhat different one, you filled me with sunshine on a grey and gloomy day, and the evening harmonies totally blew me away. BRAVO young man. Is there no end to your musical capabilities, sadly I probably wont be around when you have fully matured as an amazing pianist in this the 21st century, but I sure have seen enough to know you will be up there with the best ❤🎼🎹💖💖💖

Aku mengerti, aku bisa memaklumi perasaannya, aku merasa kalau George main piano seringnya penuh penghayatan, bahkan ada kalanya George seperti ingin.melucu atau bercanda, expresi yang ditampilkannya membuat hatiku senang, walaupun ada juga kesan kadang George sesekali ingin main main, tetapi aku menyukai semuanya. Yang lebih membahagiakan dan membuatku bersyukur, kalau aku mengalami insomnia yang sangat menyiksa, aku mendengarkan George main piano, beberapa menit kemudian, aku terlelap dan pagi pagi, aku bangun dengan perasaan penuh bahagia dan badan segar bugar karena aku bisa istirahat yang cukup.

Hello. The entire performance was beautiful and full of musical details that only a pianist as sensitive as you can play. I have so many parts that i could choose as my favourites. What an incredibly played performance of all of these pieces. Your command of the counterpoint and chordal colors is very good, indeed! I enjoyed the Rachmaninoff Etude the most, but I love almost all of his pieces! I hope you have an excellent future career and get your Steinway D!

Initially, I wasn't a fan of this pianist when I saw his posts on Instagram before the competition. However, his performance during the competition completely changed my perspective, and I am now a big admirer of his talent. In my opinion, he truly deserved the first prize. Nevertheless, the absence of the top award doesn't diminish his skill; in my eyes, he's already the best, regardless of the prize he received.
