  • I purchased this lightweight coving from Screwfix. Its called SuperCove. The best bit about it is you can put it up quick and easy. SuperCove sell pre made internal and external corners which makes life alot easier. I measure 83mm down from ceiling onto wall and get all my corners in first. All I have to do is measure and fit the straight lengths. The SuperCove adhesive which is in a tube applies so easy with a caulk gun and wipes off nice too. Job done.

Great video. I've got a box of the same stuff - one small point, according to the instructions its 83 mm not 38mm that you have to measure down. Thanks for explaining everything else for newbies like me though. 👍👍👍

That looks nice and easy Dan , i do a little bit of coving once in a blue moon and always worry about it a bit as i don't do it regularly enough to be confident with it so i'll be getting this kit next time . Used to labour for my Uncle as a young lad doing Artexing & Coving , pretty much every house we coved he'd say " look at the bow in that ceiling....Robin Hood would have been proud of that ".😄

I've used this a few times Dan. It's so easy compared to the gyroc stuff and less messy. Also, I'm sure the adhesive doubles up as a caulk too?

There is 3m lengths also. Less joins only minor issue is this coving is easily damaged when installing although l do use it.
l do my own mitres with the blue tool but external ones always takes longer getting them to meet perfect 😂

Hi Mate. Ebay was where I found it as they seem hard to get hold of in UK. It came from Australia

I wont buy the corners ready cut again, none of my corners will fit them, they are way out. (The corners that is.) Also at £11.99 for one box for two corners is a lot of money. Buy the strips with a plastic coving mitre plastic for corners, like the one you have.
