Bad metric to evaluate the training. Training doesn't really have that much effect on performance in the short run unless you absolutely shatter your players with training intensity. Not to mention huge variance between seasons even with same starting conditions. Much better way to evaluate would be comparing CA growth of players (or even more advanced player scoring systems) since player growth is actually the function of training in this game. And yes custom training schedules do tend to be noticably better, but using assistant is also not the end of the world - players will develop well enough.
I find to get a good blend you need to have a tough preseason then a good mix of sessions like yours throughout, resting players for a day if they played. This should see the players lasting games better and the season longer. Attributes should go up if the player has a good personality and is playing regular and ok.
Set my own training, whether it helps or not it gives me comfort that I covered it before match day. But I will try to bunch sessions together, to compliment each other ie. Possession with ball retension and ball distribution. But does depend on tactic I will use, for that next match to
Great idea, however I dislike the execution. We haven't really learned anything beyond reasonable doubt whether the results are random or conclusive. This experiment would require several simulations on the same team, analysing player training performances, player development, injury risks and injuries, and results only at the end, since tactics and player attributes impact that part of the game much more. I'd split this experiment into several groups of teams which have same attributes ranging from highest, great, good, etc; match them with similarly good staff to see how that changes; as well as a group which uses the user's training and lastly, a control group. I'd focus on the above mentioned parameters instead of raw team performance, which your experiment has proven doesn't impact the matches to a high extent. I know this might be a lot of work for a simple video, however, I hope the feedback helps!
I delegate but amend if I see something that needs training, including adding "match review" after every match and also generally taking out the hard physical sessions just before/after match days.
I delegate but I will drop in and tweak from time to time. Mostly just adding in match review and team bonding. Sometimes set pieces or chance conversion if I see issues with that. Often I find it doesn’t put the big game training plan in before big games like CL final or FA cup final. I have no idea if it makes a difference but it makes me feel better lol
I've not watched this yet so if this is mentioned, my bad, but what I do is I will set training to REST WEEK every week before season starts, then go into training and delegate to the best coach in terms of DETERMINATION and LEVEL OF DISCIPLINE. Then you know on the Sunday when it says the training schedule for the week, I change it to whatever it recommends we do. Doing that seems to ease injury concerns and the players love it and average around 8.3 to 8.7 in ratings.
Think you should have taken a few players to see the difference because tactics effects the game so much. You can't see it in performance onless you get wonderkids.
I would always delegate the training cos I couldn't be bothered setting it up and wouldn't really know what to do. Good to know it wouldn't make a huge difference if I set it out myself 👍
Nice idea in general, however, there are so many factors that come into play when you are delegating out your training. The quality of your facilities first of all and the second of all the quality of your coaches. Personally, I have always undertaken my own week to week training. I feel that this works best in all my saves and allows me to manage properly what the team will work on. As for individual training, I do not think it matters whether you do this yourself or delegate. I have had saves where my assistants have managed IT and I have had saves where I have managed IT and in both occasions I have always seen player development occur (even in poor form). Your video is a little confusing in what it's trying to actually prove here.
Short answer : it doesnt.. in the world cup the best fm players didnt touch it.. so i just leave it as it is, just train players for their roles in ur tactic

I have always delegated, works for me

I delegate, then rest or recover or team bond when I think the team is over tired
I havent seen any coherent results. Its just random what is best.
Ive never done training i only add team cohesion slots
