Love the video! What I learned after playing since FM '08 is... 1. Trust the per-defined tactics. 2. Use as less twist on them as possible. 3. Fill in the roles with the best players available (for you) on the market. 4. Once the players are familiar with the tactics (2-3 months intensive tactical training) those amazing chemistry-connections are built between them, results will arrive instantly! 5. Don't panic! Use your data-hub team to identify your weaknesses and adjust (slightly) your tactic. 6. Team atmosphere/happiness is key! Don't take any promises you can't guarantee. Don't pick a fight with players that are unnecessary! 7. Don't underestimate your staff. Fill in every role given with the best staff you can! +1. Play for fun! Identify/realize why do you love the game and just enjoy!
There are some really good tips there -especially the ones about using the data hub and playing for fun! Thanks for watching and leaving such a detailed comment
Quick question, does having certain tactics, and having your individual players play a certain way In game actually work ??? Or is every game you play pre determined built in game, only asking because I pick tactics where my team shouldn't conceded, or I have a high attacking set up, yet this doesn't always happen 🤣😩, for eg you could have best players on your team, and you could still loose
@@TheManagersSeat been using 2 of the tips from the video, ease off tackles and run with ball. 5 wins in a row so far and zero conceded. It's also improved the control we have in the match. My double pivot of vol and dm d are enjoying the tweaks. The vol is given licence to push up and dribble more with the "pitbull" PI of close down more, tight mark and tackle harder whereas the dm d has ease of tackles. In match when we lose possession the perform like a stopper cover but in the midfield if that makes any sense.
no bustthenet? boo! he is the actual ultimate tactical tinkerer and, funny enough, he was using OI's to create pressing traps long before any other fm youtuber even heard of such a thing... seeing how the biggest tactical mastermind gets no credit at all is rather disappointing, Llama!
You are absolutely correct - BustTheNet is a tactical mastermind. But given how ill a family member has been, we didn't want to trouble him for this video. Maybe next time though?
Let us know if there are any tactical tips you feel should be included?

One of the best pieces of advice I'll always have is remove team instructions and figure out player roles first and foremost, and only then add TIs.
That sounds like a very sensible order. Who dispensed that advice?

His channel is still quite new but his videos are banger after banger!
What a cool video! Nice collection of great tips. Best FM video i have seen in a while.
That's incredibly kind of you to say Robert. Thanks for the feedback!
Thought Zealand’s tip would’ve been loans.
I'm sure that would have been his next recommendation
What i've found to work really well on fm24 is going with attacking mentality and a striker that does 1-2 passes.
Those 1-2's can really open up defenses
Heres what Lollujo would have said, stop fiddling
Some of us just can't help ourselves!
@@TheManagersSeat This is why none of these creators won 7 streamer showdown
I was like "A masterclass in 10 minutes??? Sure, sure..." But this was a fantastic video indeed.
Too kind - thanks for the support. Glad you enjoyed the video
This video is great!
Thank you!
Lovely vid guys 👏🏾
Thanks for watching - glad you liked it!
So what you're saying is that I should use a 4-2-3-1 gegenpress and I'll win every game 10-0?
Most of these tips would suit mid-blocks rather than a gegenpress
Nice video 👏
Thanks for the feedback. Glad you enjoyed it

Tactics definitely make a difference. Sometimes, the best players lose games
I bet LoadFM would have something to say about this topic😎
Good vid llama as usual!👍👍
Thank you!
We'd love to get LoadFM on for a guest video if he was interested!

excellent tips... im going to test out the ease of tackles on DM in my save. interesting to see if it compliments my midblock system
Report back Ed after you've assessed it. I've started using it on my DM and we're keeping significantly more clean sheets than last season
@@TheManagersSeat ok sure. I'm just hitting the winter break so I can monitor for the remainder of the season vs the 1st half

@7:53 I do that too
If you're doing the same things as RDF, you're winning!
Why you voice-overing this with a Gary Barlow impression?
Cos he relights my fire
These instructions all opposite to fm-arena tactic test table. I woonder which one would be better?
That would be an interesting experiment
