Congratulations on peak 23, your nearly halfway now 🙌. The snowmoblies look crazy and you definitely made it sound really hard too, but your partner did an awsome job in driving it!! I can't wait for the next two peaks, thanks for a great video 😁.
Very nice video. I have lived in Finland my whole life and haven't been at three country cairn nor Halti. And I have been in Kilpisjärvi in summertime only, but it's nice time too because sun doesn't set at all. I call that as a "natural fridge" when I put my beers outside in winter for to cool just like you did :)
😂😂😁😁😅😅I'm soo sorry JP. It's always funny to watch someone ski for the first time. (Hey you're like a ninja! A tunafish in tne ocean!!!) I love this shit! 😂😂 Some tips though... DO NOT EAT THE YELLOW SNOW!😁😜 Fantastic video Natasha! I had so much fun watching this one. (JP! I also got a fart brewing right now 😂😂) OMG This one is one of the best so far. What a trip! And the landscape! It's hard to believe that so much white can be so beautiful. Peak 23 check! On to the next one! Be safe
😀 Nice one again Natasha !! Huge respect from me to you 2 to do this as first timers on skis and snowmobile !! Snowmobiling is so much fun as soon as the first woobliness (beginner's nerves ) let go !! 😆 ( Ive had my first snowmobile at 11 years old. ) Were you guys in Norway too on top of Halti? (I think that the very highest part of it is on "our" side of the border....) Anyway, great video and Im looking forward to more adventures!!
Woah since you were 11 you had one?! It’s probably an extension of your body at this point! We could only stay on the Finnish side unfortunately, the weather was taking a bad turn so we spent about 15mins at the top. I heard the interesting story behind Norway trying to give the full top to Finland 🕵️♀️ It’s the thought that counts I guess eh?
@@NatashaBergen 😄 The last snowmobile we had was sold a few years back (due to health issues. Im 50+ now). But yes Ive spent so many hours on those things !! I simply loved it !! The more challenging terrain to drive in, the funnier it was !! Too bad regarding the weather for yous though, that spoiled a lot of your trip😟. How the situation is now regarding the peak of Halti, I honestly don't know. Been very quiet about it for a while....🙂
Just had a look at their website, they don’t currently ship to the UK, so I bought some new Oakley’s, hope Juan Pablo finds some worldie shades to replace his lost ones.
In 2017 Finland celebrated 100 years as a sovereign nation, before that they were a Russian grandukeship since 1809, and before that a part of Sweden. The township of Kåfjord wanted to give the whole mountain to Finland as a gift, the mountain Halde (Norwegian name) has two peaks, and the highest is in Norway, so by moving the international border a mere 40 meters would have had both peaks in Finland. But the Norwegian constitution says that no part of the country could be sold or given away, The normal name today in Norway is in Sami language, Haldditcohkka .
After so many years, I've come so close to working in Europe. But since my kid is now graduating from high school, I can finally go back to study (PhD) and live (hopefully) in Sweden or Finland. Cross my fingers and hope it happens by next summer.
@user-qc6jj1pq4s thanks so much for the tip. It's so hard to figure out where to go from all this information. I'm applying for art jobs right now and Sweden and also for PHd Art programs. It would be nice to help teach Art their to help the communities.

Congrats! Of course it counts. I’m counting the cable car I took up mount Teide. 😎
Yeessss 💪
Oh yeah, what shades are you both wearing?
Mine are ‘Evil Eye’ they’re a company from Austria and do prescriptions. 🙌👀 As for Juan Pablo’s, I’m not sure 🤣 he ended up losing them 🙈

"The snow is soft" .. ha! My ribs disagree - admittedly there was a bit more horizontal (and vertical) speed involved.. 💥⛷
Oh shoot! Yeah I totally get you it can be hard as ice 😅
