      I went to an art school for three years where they didn't teach anything. They just gave us assignments to finish every week and we were on our own on learning new things. Literally paying to teach myself software and advanced methods

    Honestly I appreciate this style of tutorial. He just, DOES it and explains it. Other tutorials have been harder to understand for someone with ADHD who needs to know how to do the thing and gets distracted by the music in the background or the filler talk. No hate to those tutorials, they are well made, but this just hits my brain at the RIGHT frequency

    In the properties panel on the right, there is an option to display the waveform for your audio file. It makes cutting/syncing a lot easier.

    Edit. Dont forget theres a check box you can see the wave form of audio so you dont just have to scrub the audio you can just see where it ends and make cuts there.

    When slimer moved for the first time all colored and with his mouth movements I literally popped off out of my chair like "WHAT!?"
    Like I've always known how animation works but seeing someone's process first hand and then watching their creations move is priceless.
    I feel like I just witnessed Frankenstein create his monster. Hearing you make a laugh after breathing life into your art is incredible. I'm learning so much

    I mostly just love this cause I love seeing the creative process. Also cause its a clear reminder for people why projects of longer lengths take the amount of time. The final product here was like less than 20 seconds but in a (sped up so i dont know the exact time) recording it took over an hour and a half. This takes time and its always worth it. Love the work man.

    i spent like 50 bucks for an Intro to Animation workshop and learned nothing about actually finding a program to start with- meanwhile this absolute champion provides a full run down in a free program for free. I love Worthi so much holy smokes

Like the weak incompetent fool that I am, I was overwhelmed by the UI that greeted me and I was too scared to really do anything on the software. Although it looks convoluted, the amount of tabs and buttons makes sense now that you've explained how convenient it makes the animating process adjkjad Your guide is easy to follow and you're pretty humorous so it doesn't feel like a drag, agh literally I cannot give enough thank yous for the immediately helpful guide.

    i decided to download blender and try my first actual animation using this video as a tutorial and (even though i thought i would be trash) it's going really well and i'm super proud of it. i didn't know if animation was something i wanted to get into before, but i think now i definitely wanna try some more. thanks for being inspiring and cool and stuff :)

    String of assumptions here, but I think "k" is the hotkey for cutting audio because Blender's creator Tom Roosendaal is Dutch, and the Dutch word for "snip" is "knip."
