Thanks!!! I just found one with the same listing despite the one linked being unavailable. If people search Generic 12v 1HP trolling motor and do some scrolling hopefully they will find it also. I have been planning to order a 24v 110# Haswing, but this deal was too good to pass up. Will upgrade later.
Unfortunately the one I got is showing unavailable for purchase now. Tried the search again without luck but maybe they will be adding more listings. So happy I didn’t wait to order. Thanks again!
The barrel isnt really giving a good read on amp draw. Under actual use mine draws 44 to 48 amps at full. Great motors for the most part. For me a draw back is the new auto-boat gps adapter doesnt work with these.
Agreed. A barrel test isn't as accurate as a field test but I wanted to make sure the motor worked. I have one on one of these on my kayak. I actually owned the Gen1 of the Protruar 1.0.
i got 2 now, not sure of the gen. They warranty replaced one and let me keep the old one. So i repaired it lol Mines a few years old now and since i got livescope iam really wanting something with spot lock. SO i may go back to my old 40# mk and get autoboat for it. But i think ill keep the haswing on the back for main travel. @@Aksmaniyak
You can use Minn Lota PowerDrive Control board, steering transmission, and iPilot parts to build the same system as the Autoboat basically with the added benefit of parts availability and years of service, etc. Total price ends up being about the same. Likewise you could build a MG based system price.
Wow what a score. The company has bad Amazon ratings but since you received one it makes me more confident
That's why I waited to test it first. Amazon does have a good return policy.
@@Aksmaniyak Went to order and they are unavailable. Looks like you were lucky. Hopefully they come up again.
If I notice they are available again I will post a comment here.
@@Aksmaniyak thanks Aksel. I have some time before I need to get one, hopefully it comes up.
Keep searching using the generic info and new ones may pop up. There were 2 sellers.
I have 3 3.0 hawswing. Love em.
Just got this same unit I noticed it doesn’t use a safety lanyard might have to configure one 😎🍻
Let the buying Frenzy begin 🙂
😂 Amazon should be crashing soon!
Awesome Find 👍
Glad to help.
do you think the linear electric outboards are worth it compared to the cheaper geared ones, do batteries really last longer to make it worth it ?
Hello. Some sounds (rubbing) are heard at certain revs, is there a problem with this?

Hi this is great thank you. Can i ask if this a water cooled unit and if it has overheat temperature protection,??
Thanks. This is not water cooled and does have a overheat shut down function.
@@Aksmaniyak hi many thanks this is great. Can I ask which models in 12v have both,? Water cooled and overheat temp protection,if you know,?
Hi just to ask this does not have a overheat temperature protection,?
@@jhtwnetytwoplusone Yes it does.
how is the LiTime 100ah mini working for you? I need to upgrade mine to a 100ah mini
Working great so far. It is a nice little battery that easy fits into different cases.
Dont like the sound on low rps and 3 stage indicator are to bad. Still working?
Yes.
Plan to install it on my 2.0 m inflatable. Any chance to reach 10 km/h at top speed, please (total weight, me included=100 kgs)?
I don't think so. Top speed with a kayak is 4-5 MPH.
