    I really liked your calm, knowledgeable style - not like the usual shouty reviews. Thanks again.

    Everything Marty says about this bike is 100% accurate. He sold me RS #013 that I picked up on Valentines day. He was in the process of his "600" mile break-in ride at that time so we discussed many of these topics. This is far and away the finest high speed "Touring" motorcycle I've ever owned in over 60 plus years of riding!!!! Emphasis on the "HIGH SPEED". I've owned several MTS bikes but this is now my Go To /Favorite (replaced my S1000XR with it) even though I still have my 1260. There are several folks working on "additional" storage options and that "issue" will be resolved eventually. EvoTech has a Tidy Tail for it and DucaBike have many accessories (farkles) available. Marty is "The Man" and I drove from Houston to Dallas just to deal with him and AMS (Jeff et al). Can't give them too many accolades!!!!!!!!! Great people!

      my question is, can the hard luggage steel boxes be mounted, or is the plastic cases the only option atm? also with a bike that special you could go silly with titanium kick stand, center stand, crash bars, ect. just don't look at the price tag...

    Absolutely gorgeous bike! I do have to say that no top case ability on a touring bike would be a non-starter for me. Excellent review of the bike; very informative and Marty is a natural on camera. Keep the videos coming! Look forward to my next visit to your shop. Cheers, Bruce

      Thanks Bruce! It certainly is a bike for a select group of buyers. Those who are willing to sacrifice some storage options for the raw power.

    Thanks for the review, that’s what I was looking for. I’m getting older now, still do a few track days, and some sport touring, so I traded my Multistrada V4S and Panigale V4S in on the RS, as I wanted the best of both bikes. I pick it up this week, so I can’t wait to try it out. Cheers from Australia.

      Applaud! He must laughing his face off as he politely agreed to do it. He’s got to run in one of the finest bikes available as a ‘favour’. I’ll do the run in next they need it doing! I wont even need the applause. That’s the best offer I can make 👏😉

      I have ridden a 12 year old Kawasaki ZZR1400 (US model ZX-14) at 186 MPH (300 km/h). The Kwak Ninja H2 SX SE will give the same, 0>100km/hr acceleration is certainly faster. And I also have a 2023 MTS V4 PikesPeak, and it's not much slower than the RS version.

    Hi Marty; after this travel experience with the new RS I ask you for a couple of pieces of information:
    1) the cylinders are between the legs like on the V4S.....does it still heat up a lot or does the carbon fiber bulkhead they implemented solve the "heat" problem quite well?
    2) are the vibrations transmitted from the handlebars to the arms felt a lot compared to the V4S?? I know they removed the rubber to have more feeling between the wheel and steering.
    THANK YOU SO MUCH AS ALWAYS for your precious advice.

    i have a mts1260 PP and i am considering the mts v4 rs for track duties due to my lack of enthusiasm hunching over a v4r after my back injuries.
    i can’t seem to find any race fairings or aftermarket foot rests for multistrada though.

    Nice overview! One question - based on the riding you described, I guess there's no break in needed on this motor?

    • @AMSDucatiDallas
      @AMSDucatiDallas  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      The owners manual clearly states a “break in” protocol with every ducati. We may break these rules occasionally to get a full assessment of the motorbike with the owners permission.

    Marty, you mentioned the handlebars mounting point on the triple clamp is different compared to the other MultiStrada versions. I've tried to find a difference and I couldn't. Can you please explain more in detail what the difference is?

    • @AMSDucatiDallas
      @AMSDucatiDallas  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The silent block has been removed on the RS so the handlebar is rigidly attached to the steering head for a more direct riding feeling.

    Hi Marty, I live in Italy near Milan and I have owned a Multi V4S Full for about a year and I am really satisfied. However, I would like to switch to a more "sporty" Multistrada because I don't do much road but I like a more agile bike and on both fast and narrow mixed routes. Which do you recommend? Pikes Peak or RS? Thanks so much for the advice.

    • @AMSDucatiDallas

    For the time being-I’ll keep my PP and “de-restrict” the ECU to not hold back mid-range power-especially first three gears. I can really feel it being held back. Basically trying go rationalize NOT leaping to this as a wife-on-board sport tourer. Plus-we need tail luggage for a couple of our longer overnight trips. I think the BMW M1000XR won’t be as much competition as the lofty power figure would make it out to be. That’s a 14,500 rpm motor in a tourer. Low torque.
