- I've had my hero 50 for a few months now and thought it was about time I gave you all my thoughts on it. Also took it for a wee ride of course !

I've had a bullit hero 50 for around 6 months now, and it's had so many problems with it, and at the moment it won't let me rev the bike without it cutting out just wondering if you knew why.
That sounds like a carb problem. Have you changed any settings on the screws on the carb ? Also it could be a gasket problem between the carb and the engine - If air is getting in after the carb it will mess everything up
did you sort this ? mines very similar

They are such nice little bikes. So tempted buy one to pootle around on, but I'm 6ft 3" and 17 stone, so I'm not confident it will even get me up a steep road.
I’m a few stones off that myself so couldn’t honestly tell you what it would be like. It’s a good engine for a 50
I've one and I'm 15 stone 6ft 2 . I get 40 on the flat and can get up all but the really steep hills at at least 30-35.
@@michaelreed8716 That is good to know! If I do get one, it would be purely for fun, can use the car for any distance journeys. Getting even more tempted :)

Had 50cc moped been up the campsies on it bit of a struggle tho lol bit of a shame on grandfather rights stuck on a 50cc but mp3 piaggio upto 500cc its fine because of the font wheels space 😅

I am in Sweden and they never heard of it.. I called a store I think in Amsterdam and they said is sold out..
Does anyone knows where one can order this within the EU today?

@@LakyTaki i found one in Holland but he really did not understand the laws of EU, that they are the same! So he thought it was illegal to buy in Sweden, which it is Not! So he refused to sell me it… so strange store… I am not even a kid! And it is classified as an EU moped… 🤷🏼♂️ what the Dutch !? 😂

A great bike to look at but so slow, I sold mine after a handful of rides, I didn't feel it was a safe bike and see why everyone says get at least a 125
Yup they are slow .. it’s ok if you are just pottering around town but yeah there’s a big difference in a 125 for sure

im 16 and really thinking of getting this motercycle, how reliable are they?
Mines been perfect for the 500 miles I’ve done with it. I only use it in the dry which helps. Some people get problems with the ignition coils when water gets into them

how easy to derestrict, im only 10st would it be quicker lol, as for 2 stroke what bike do you recommend thanks
Bullit needs one connector unplugged under seat and one pin taken out a connector under tank to derestrict.
As for 2 strokes it just depends what style you like - race type like rieju rs3, aprilia rs50, Yamaha tzr or moto cross type like derbi senda, rieju mrt, aprilia sx50. They are all good bikes

Hi i recently got one of these and have no idea what position is choke off or choke on
Hi! The choke is fully on when the lever is vertical. It’s off when the lever is lying flat horizontally.
@@nitrorory ah thank you so much. This whole time I've been riding with choke on. Any recommendations on to what to do as I have been riding it with it on?
@@BG-vo9lv well you might want to check the spark plug to see if it’s very black and fouled and if so change it. Otherwise only use the choke when the bike is only warming up and ride with it full off when it warm

@@nitrorory Yeah hi again. When the level is horizontal (so choke off) it does not get above 5000rpm and is very sluggish. My dad said this is how it should be running normally with choke on. However, having the level vertical for me its much smoother and gets above 5000rpm no problem.
Question. Will the engine guard from the 125 fit the fifty do you know?
Sorry I have no idea. I’ve never seen the engine guard so don’t even know if it’s close
