Crimbo greetings! 🎄 🎁 I don't often throw out compliments on channels, but you certainly deserve one from me. I always look forward to your new videos, and have always enjoyed each and every one!
Wonderful mate. I'm going to have a go at all three, I've got a few of the prizes on offer but I know some good homes where they'd be looked after. Merry Christmas to you and you're family. Look forward to your output next year.
Happy Christmas Seb and something else about welcoming you to the future. I have a bunch of newly written Spectrum games that I have been playing today, you know which games I mean, we need a VHS tape about them for you to make, have fun and stuff 💗 Can you enter me into the contest please, I have no idea how to do it. I'm hoping to win the BBC micro 😚😚😚😚😚😚😚😚
Generous of you but I'm a Speccy lover and I already have that wonderful book, along with a few other good Speccy reads. So in a 'not entering way' I'll answer your question and say 3D Deathchase was a game that is lauded on the Spectrum but I never understood why. I got so bored of it in about 5 minutes, it just was the same thing over and over and over, and be it when I was a kid or as an adult I get no joy from it at all. Of course I also love games that got panned in the ratings, so just goes to show. Have a great Christmas!
I'd enter, but i'd feel mean if i won and you had to ship to Canada, and they wouldnt work on our power supply anyhuw... Oh, I thought you were giving away the cpc there for a second.
When I was about 10 I had some birthday money a total of about £10 should I buy 5 mastertronics or 1 £9.99 game for and treat myself after much thought I went for Dragons Lair for the c64 the game is brutal and I regretted it ever since I am still not over it !
OMG the bias. Amstrad owners get a great game, C64 owners get a 0% game 😀 Di’s Baby, my favourite C64 crap game 👌 I have a problem with my Retrum. You should see a doctor 😂 Loved The Pyramid on the C64 as a kid. Loved the different alien sprites and wanted to progress to each room to see what item they were.
I was watching a video about the best CPC 464 games and one game stood out...Everyone's A Wally...I was really quite surprised how good it looked and played...Dare I say it, better than the C64 version? Have you seen it?
The Wally series originated on the Speccy. Automania, Pyjamarama, Everyone's A Wally, Herbert's Dummy Run and the frustratingly silly Three Weeks in Paradise.
@@SebsPlaceYT It doesn't look like a direct port...it does look much better though. Unfortunately, I can't find any other videos on it and I don't have a CPC to try it...
@billybollockhead5628 I used to play it on my Spectrum and actually managed to solve quite a few of the puzzles. It was a great game and very underrated.
on the Spectrum I absolutely hated Dizzy, it is a shite game, with shite controls and just a horribly shit game. I don't get it, it's a shit game with an egg character that just bounces around, looks annoying and is just shitness personified.
I wasn't a big fan of the Dizzy games on the C64 but for another reason - they felt like cheap and nasty ports rather than take proper advantage of the hardware on offer. Yes, they had better music in some cases and the puzzles are the same. However, there's some awful bugs in some of them, such as the infamous cut down Spellbound Dizzy lite version on the Dizzy's Excellent Adventures compilation, and even on the full version, a major bug exists so you can complete the game in under 2 minutes. Only Crystal Kingdom Dizzy felt like some love and care went into that version, and Dizzy Down the Rapids started on the C64, so that at least looks and also plays decent. If you're going to play anything Dizzy, the Amstrad CPC is the source version and should really be played on that system for the bext experience.
OI!!! I only just got that bloody NINJA MASTER song out of my head and you bloody play it again!! Blowpipe Blaaaaasssttttteeeeerrrrrr! ARGH! PS if you haven't already - how about something on Legend with the flawed but fun Valhalla and the .... execrable The Great Space Race. Both games largely written in basic and largely overpriced - TGSP was £15 at launch bloody ripoff. You could buy a house for that back then!

Cheers Denny! Go for it!
@7:12 Hopper Copper was originally going to be called Pogo Cop, but the developers thought a Pogo Stick was too Violent at the time.
😂😂
Merry Christmas sir!
And to you Snorkers!!!
@02:27 You need freakin' Pym particles to read that...
Thanks for all the vids

IT'S ZIGGY.

Thank you, and happy Christmas to you too! Funnily enough, Death Chase has come up a few times in the emails, which is interesting.
6:37 Di's Baby was Di-A-Bolical. Sorry.
😁😁
I'd enter, but i'd feel mean if i won and you had to ship to Canada, and they wouldnt work on our power supply anyhuw... Oh, I thought you were giving away the cpc there for a second.
Haha! A game and mug to Canada I can deal with. Not a box big enough to ship a CPC 😁😁

Good shout! It was never gonna be the arcade game was it.....

I loved EAW as a kid, I never had a bloody clue what i was actually doing with it though.

I was going to add something pithy, but changed my mind.
Love the Christmas Ziggy BTW!
@@SebsPlaceYT Cheers.🎅Merry Christmas🎅
And to you 😊
Never played CPC or C64 so ;)
Speccy it is then! 😁

Agree. I never got it either. My younger brother absolutely loved it though, it was the source of endless arguments.
Yeah! I wanted to like it but struggled with it. Email me @ stupotseb@gmail.com if you want to enter that into the comp!
Dizzy games were usually the only games i ever played to the end :D
Dunno why i liked him so much.
