As a native English speaker who used to speak German, "Aber" is such a fun word to say, I frankly don't blame y'all
I do that too! It mostly happens when I use ""aber" as a filler word
I studied abroad and had a few German friends among the students I hung out with. We spoke mostly English in social situations, and one of them kept saying "und" instead of and, on top of the "Aber".

can confirm: Fabric will rip at the seams when stretched because the stitches created holes that are just going to tear. For that reason, Latex clothes are glued, not sewn ✨

@@R.R.254 it was a reference to explain how clothes from textiles that tend to rip or tear just like this can be done. Full disclosure: Idk if PU or anything else than latex is glued for garments
@Old Blue Witch As a casual sew-er(I am in no way a seamstress but I do make some clothes for my kids and like bags and misc) that sounds like a really smart way to do it! Latex clothes are very expensive and should definitely have heat sealed seams for the price you pay so they actually last and are durable.
@@IveGotItTwisted I have made glued Latex, ran a business, if it's well made glue will last just fine and there's nothing wrong with glue. There's plenty of high quality glued Latex.
Stitching then sealing is primarily for THICKER Latex, on thinner latexes it just doesn't make any sense to do.
And also, things have changed over time. When I was running my business molded latex was universally crap but it's a whole artform now and there's some absolutely incredible molded latex work around. 🤷
Quality definitely exists in every type at this point.
@@JoeyisDREADful Because thinner latex would scorch or melt through if heated? Genuinely asking! Thank you for educating me, I've never owned latex anything because I'm EXTREMELY claustrophobic and I have fibromyalgia so the sensation on my skin would just be too painful. Heat sealing for thicker latex sounds like an ideal way to seal the seams just based off my knowledge of sewing regular fabrics so forgive my ignorance 😅 Quality is definitely important in, well everything, but especially in garments that are so fitted and made of a specialty material like latex. Poor quality could lead to infections etc and nobody wants that. The latex splitting would also be super disappointing if you buy a less than great quality garment but paid quality pricing. Good quality is worth the extra $ for sure

When you have very stretchy fabric like the "Kim K dress", you also need to use very stretchy materials for the seams, especially in the thread. If you do what they did and use a solid thread with the very stretchy fabric that is also pretty cheap, it will eventually either start cutting through the fabric at the seams and making holes or will cause the threads to snap at the seams and making holes. Long story short, unless the dress is very loose on you, it's going to start breaking down at the seams. Even if it doesn't, if you wear it a lot, you usually start getting a texture change on the butt where it stretches and rubs when you sit down. It just isn't made to last.

I bought I pair of faux leather leggings on Amazon and I washed them and hung them up for a week in the bathroom. The smell went away completely. Maybe try this with the Kim K dress 🤷🏼♀️
There is something about a red dress that is as iconic as a "little black dress" and Naomi RAWKed it!
Also PVC is extremely stinky, and hard to sew because you are basically ripping micro-holes in it.

Someone liked this and brought it back to my attention 2mo later and I realized I forgot to mention that PVC clothes are usually glued together because of the ripping issues caused by sewing.
