KE was a comic genius, man I so loved his video show. The earlier Thames ones were the best, I watched them all again recently, I haven't laughed like that in many years. With hot Gossip and everything about them, it was truly Epic TV. Nothing will ever come close to that.
Thiny, Shiny? that's normal human size! I was part of this, used to demo for two of the girls who taught for Arlene. We were never anorexic, we ate very well. 90% of people seem to be at least fat nowadays if not obese. You don't have the energy to dance if you don't eat and those routines are hard and fast, let alone the hours of class you need to stay fit and flexible.
Hot gossip/pans people dancers made the songs a hit in the 70s/80, fast forward to the 2000's, these sorts of dancing would be banned by the very ones who made them a hit (if they are still alive) for the babies of today, they would find them to Racey to for them to cope with.🙁
Hot Gossip were fab! The girls were all very sexy and all the dancers plus choreography was excellent. Now, I wouldn't normally have my attention taken by one of the guys... but the way the male dancer moves @ 2:45 is really freaky! lol ... great stuff! But damn the girls are nice :)
Dunno what the fuss was all about, didn't understand why Kenny called them the "naughty bits", just loved the dance rendition, don't know why anyone took offence!
