The second one was wobbly because the camera cover on the first phone prevented it from standing upright. If the back were completely flat, it would have been more stable. I’m not sure if you rewatched your video, but it’s clear the phone would tip forward since the camera cover keeps it from having a fully flat surface. Additionally, you showed a second phone with a case that was a bit meatier and not flat at all, which is why it couldn't sit properly against the phone holder. The extra thickness of the case made it even less stable, so it’s no surprise that it didn’t stay upright either. Just my take on it.
