UPDATE 26/08: A new route has been added to the maps, numbered 350 and operating between Mirrabooka Bus Station and Caversham (Swan Valley Discovery Park), passing by the vacant bus stands on Benara Road near Noranda Station. This is the only route to pass these stands part of Noranda Station, and its terminus is very strange considering the Discovery Park used to be part of a once-a-day route 353 deviation which was removed due to low patronage and now a full-time bus route is being terminated there...
If Beaufort Street got better bus lane enforcement, and some bus bays for 950X to overtake 950 then it could work. the area between the Yanchep and Midland lines has been a rapid transit desert for a long time, hence why present day 360, 361, and 362 are limited stop along Alexander Drive; though it has the benefit of being a wide dual carriageway with no street parking.
Just a note: The 360 is doing what the current 361 bus is doing. The 360 currently serves the southern portion of Illawarra crescent, which is what the 361 does in this proposal.
I don't think the 356 loop will be able to service the Altone shops because it needs to hang a right immediately - the intersection is just out front of the shopping centre. They'd have to deviate the bus into the parking lot, which would be cool.
Thankyou Mark I have been looking everywhere on the transperth site for this, hopefully they reinstate the service to muchea and consider a direct route to Joondalup station from Ellenbrook for the ECU students
@@JulianTransporter91 Well neither of these things are on the plan for now. I think they are both rather unlikely especially since you can just go to Whitfords and catch the train from there.
@@thegreentimtam Uh they actually took them down again. ☠️ Looks like they accidentally released them but I was there just on time to capture it and record it!
@@MightyBeans-p1p They haven't built a proper interchange so it's hard to turn the route around somewhere. It's really similar to how 445 and 444 get very close to Greenwood but don't go there or 473 and 474 at Currambine. Still I'm quite surprised we're getting a new station without a bus interchange.

I would like to rant about 955... there’s B7s and B8s running the route, as expected. No complaining there. But during morning run and afternoon time, there are NHs running the service. Bro- it’s 3pm, there are students who want to go home, and running a NH during this time is ok?! And 66 was right in front with an ARCTIC B8 950 IS COMING IN A MINUTE! Unnecessary... Sorry, end of rant

in my opinion i think 350 should extend to guildford or midland station.
@@achawildenauer5348 Yeah it's quite a silly terminus spot...

excited to see a new circumferential high frequency route

348 Route will presumably be extended when Henley Brook Ave is extended to Park St. So that route will hopefully make more sense in the future.
I'm glad Viveash gets a proper service now
Thanks Mark

@@TransportofPerth yeh true I can see Muchea getting a service once the bullsbrook extension is built
What about the 722 perth Busport to goodwill engineering
@@lindsaybiallowons7670 Will probably stay as normal as that's a special service for a particular purpose.

@@TransportofPerth great work 👏 so glad you saw the maps in time Mark
Perhaps the 950X will just be a "deviation", and now shown on the desto. But if that's the case there'd be no way of telling them apart
Would have to say "limited stops" as part of the scrolling desto but that would be more confusing than a separate number.
What operator will 452 be operated by, path or swan
@@Busman3117 I'm not sure, probably Swan though, we'll have to wait and see.
extend the 46 up to Noranda station?
But why not make the 352 just drive to Noranda? then go back to it's route. great coverage Mark thankyou. 🎉

Transperth should make a Gangara road transfer bus station due to routes either travelling there or terminating there
351 is 344 replacement
New route should make it more reliable, the current 344 is late a lot.
352 would get you to Noranda station the easiest. you get off at Emberson rd b4 Benera rd and it's a short walk to Noranda station.
where do you find these maps?

We dont know yet
Approximately end of this year
In December.
When in December
@@RandomTransperthFan They haven't released the exact date yet they only do that about two months before.
There is going to be a lot of comments made when it is actually advertised. A Beaufort Street to Bayswater station is needed.
No busses to Noranda!

387 becomes 416 and rerouted from Warwick to Mirabooka
