The casita is just a bedroom with an en suite. I believe the word casita means small house or cottage. The house is a mix bag. Nice to have a slider in your bedroom. But a fridge in the washroom is great but it’s so far away to be useful
Thanks for watching and most importantly, sharing your thoughts, @kdm313! You're right, "casita" typically translates to "little house" in Spanish, often implying a small, self-contained living space. It's interesting how this concept has been integrated into modern home designs, sometimes as just a fancy bedroom suite rather than a fully independent unit. The slider door in the bedroom does sound like a nice touch for privacy and perhaps access to a patio or garden, enhancing the feeling of space and connection with the outdoors. The fridge at the laundry is a unique feature indeed. While the novelty and convenience for late-night or early morning refreshments are there, you make a good point about its practicality. For everyday use, it might be less convenient unless the bathroom is centrally located or the house is designed for minimal movement between rooms. This mix of innovative and traditional elements in home design certainly sparks a lot of discussion on what's functional vs. what's just fashionable. It's these kinds of features that make each home unique, don't you think?
Thank you for watching! Much appreciated! ❤❤❤
