I admire the way you provide for Amy's needs, water to food, etc. first, before getting down to your work. 🤗
As a pre teen, I used to collect lots of fire wood with a neighbor in Colorado USA. he would cut into 6-8 ft lengths then use a rope to tie ( choker) one end then I would drag through the woods holding front slightly elevated to camp. Ends up being easier labor very fast and especially when going downhill. Much better than lift and carry all day

I'd like to see a video on all the ways to make natural cordage in your area and the different barks and trees that can be used this way. I know once you know how to make it, you can just tell if a tree or plant is suitable without knowing the species, but it is still useful to know beforehand and skip the screwing around.

4:18 Amy is such a good helper. "Ok we're doing stuff! This is fun! What's up here?" I notice there are no lions or tigers in your videos. She is obviously doing a great job keeping them away.
Your camp is really expanding. However, it's only "secret" until someone walks nearby. If you want to keep it, you may want to consider transplanting some local bushy shrubs and (medical) weeds outside the perimeter. As it grows, it will hide the camp better and you'll have a close supply of certain medications.

@@nickryan3417 It is still at a secret location. Unless she gives the lat/long or exact directions to it, then it is unlikely anyone could find it.
If you start growing medicinal bushes out there every teenager within 50 miles will know your secret. lol
I can't find anything wrong with that. It's understandable how many more people looking for robots for helpers, not to be compared to either camels or dogs (as they still need food and water). Hey, I used to be a robot, but now I'm a robocop. Let's move on!

I've been subscribed to your channel for many years now and I've always enjoyed that forest of yours! The drone footage at the beginning is awesome and the music is very fitting! It's been an awesome year for mushrooms in my neck of the woods. I made some birch polypore tea last year and really enjoyed it! Awesome video! 👍

Here in Hawaii we call that tree fungus pepeiao which means ear. very good in stir fry's. You can dry them and keep in the freezer than add water to them to rehydrate them before cooking

In the forest things are rarely a secret. Many critters pass through who seldom meet.
It is wise to know that while it is secret to you, it might not be to others.
I was coming up with a primer on making a trail that is hard to spot from the road when I realized that I am the kind of person who looks at things hoping to uncover mystery and that I am not alone. You can reduce the number of people who can find your secret but never really stop it from happening.
Lilly your Camp is really turning out great. I cannot wait to see it when you are truly finished with it. I wish that I could be able to enjoy sleeping in a camp a few nights just like yours. It has to be one hell of an experience. So please keep making these terrific videos, I really enjoy them. Take care of yourself as always. From John
Her place sure looks better than some of those little dog houses some people make that's for sure - it looks comfy, practical and inviting, also looks like it can be warm and be kept nice and dry.
Lily truly really knows what she is doing. I always enjoy watching and learning from her with everything that she does. She surely taught me alot and she will always be my favorite TH-camr.

Lilly, your videos and effort to build this camp are just great! I have followed these vids many years, from the beginning. But have you thought getting rid of those plastic tarps? Could they be replaced with something more sustainable material. Just a thought.
My grandfather once found a mushroom like the one at 1:22 that was about 10 inches across.He had someone paint a mural of his house on it,then varnished it.I still remember seeing it on his fireplace mantel.

Yes, get your Ham radio license. There are phone apps for practice tests. Also there are extended batteries that would let you listen all weekend long.

That is awesome! I just made a strop the other day and was able to sharpen my knives that where duller than a rock, I plan on going out and doing some bushcraft now.

I like the camp, just one thing, I would enclose the whole camp with the wooden fence to make it safe from any animals during the night.

Armand Zottola: Lilly. FYI…here in southern New England the wild animals have returned in most towns. Moose, deer, eagles and bears are a common sight. Occasionally…even lions, and further north wolves too. They have learned to line on garbage and the food chain grows richer.

Hi Lilly ! I've just received my APO-1S with its goodies ^^ it's AWESOME. I ordered the APO, one of the 50 offerred sharpener (already lucky) and a firesteel. I don't want to create jalousy to whom wouldn't receive all I had but the waterproof box and tube are amazing. So is the survival saw ^^ many thanks for your time and dedication. I'll start a fire this evening for you ^^

have you considered a rope line winch for getting longer logs up the hill?
A spokeshave would make carving things such as that bow far easier. You can get one on Amazon for less than $20
