These highlights don't do justice to Gasquet; it is obvious that he is less strong than Sinner, but in this match he was a real fighter, he didn't spare himself, he played the first set very well and even afterwards he gave everything he had, he even sustained long rallies, he played with a lot of concentration. He lost, it was inevitable against the world number 1, but honour to the French tennis player for his fighting spirit. It was not a boring match, on the contrary! Sinner did not look nearly as dominant today as usual. His forehand placement was excellent but his power was lacking (still quite powerful but not what I’m used to seeing). His backhand didn’t quite create the angles it normally does. Alcaraz was also not himself.
Honestly, Gasquet impressed me. He is limited by his age (he of course does not have Djokovic’s conditioning), but his ground strokes were beautiful, and Sinner simply ran him around the court in a way that was not sustainable.

@@giotor66Sinner doesn't dominate sets this way. That's more of an alcaraz thing. But sinner doesn't give away cheap sets like Alcaraz. That maybe the reason, by the end of their careers Sinner might end up more successfull.

I'm Italian Sinner fan but this highlights are disrespectful for Gasquet, not even one poit won for Gasquet is shown.
    Come on.

Everyone acting like this was the most wide open draw of all time with Sinner still in. If he says he's healthy I wouldn't bet on anyone else to win the whole thing just based on how he's been leagues above the whole tour all year.

I feel like the highlights could be better. We watch really good points serially from the same angle. We need replays of the points from different angles or slow motions. It would be more enjoyable to watch slightly longer highlights. And yes, Sinner will be the winner of the RG

I don't have Sinner going far in this tournament not just because of his health concerns with the hip but also his history on clay but he is looking good and he happens to have a dream draw which should allow him to ease into the later rounds and develop some real consistency and feel for the conditions. I don't think his level can match Dmitrov's though.

just 1 point for the first set? really? you know this dont *have* to be just 3min right? consider extending to 5 or even better 7 to get a real sense of the match
