  • One of traditional way to drink sake is from wooden box called Masu. The wooden cup "Masu" is usually used for drinking sake at a celebration in Japan. It is considered auspicous and denotes "prosperity" because of a Japanese phrase, "masu-masu", which means "more and more". With a hint of wood, Masu can also enrich the flavors of sake.

Thanks for sharing one of the traditional Japanese customs. MASU is absolutely not easy to drink, but we can enjoy the smell of wood drinking Sake.

Did you really make this video without knowing the reason for the box? Or how common this service method is in Japan (traditional, but not common)? It's not even usually a glass in a box; a box on a saucer is more common. I'm disgusted with your lack of knowledge of the subject matter you're making videos about.
