    Hey Eddie, what a breath of fresh air. Im in the same space now dealing with lpr. I have found that I can go a long time during the day without symptoms until I think oh yeah I have lpr and the symptoms come back. sounds crazy, i know but true. another good hack is to put 1/8 tsp of baking soda in a cup of room temp water and sip it to relieve the weird feeling in the throat and the coughing. good luck to all out there that have this.

    HI Eddie, Just wanted to say a great big THANK YOU for mentioning how important reading “You are the Placebo” is. Joe Dispenza is amazing. Got off my doc prescribed PPI’s after about 6 weeks. Still on my healing journey but feeling much better. I think I finally have the right healing path. Again thanks for the time you took to address this horrible condition, your advice was truly unique and spot on.

    You're fantastic Eddie!! Thank you so much. You're funny, just what the doctor ordered!! I've been experiencing acid reflux o and off for almost 2 years now and LPR for about 3 months now. I think a shift in mindset is very important. I know this can be difficult when the symptoms can be so consuming. I was on PPIs but I abandoned them last week after 22 days of a 28-day course. I'm on the last day of the acid watcher diet healing phase which I think has helped. I think stress and anxiety play a huge part in LPR. I've been going through perimenopause, relationship issues, etc etc. I've been having CBT for my anxiety and childhood trauma stuff which has helped by providing me with tools to manage better. My symptoms seemed to get worse about a few days after coming off the PPIs. Yesterday I really got quite upset with the whole LPR thing. This morning I was upset and angry and quite pissed off. I said that I wasn't prepared to go another day with this thing and demanded from the Universe that I needed healing to arrive today. And bang!!!! I stumbled upon your videos. Thank you 😊💖!!!!

    Hi Eddie! This is amazing, I’ve been an LPR sufferer since recovering from covid 3 months ago. I had a major panic attack on the way to the doctors for a recovery checkup when it happened. From there it just spiralled out of control. Throat clearing, lump in throat, glue like mucus- wheezing before bed, choking tickle at the back of the throat and terrible heart burn. I’ve had such bad panic attacks over it I’ve lost function of my hands at times due to hyperventilating. I also self-diagnosed after tonnes of research and joining forums because I generally had bad experiences with doctors and didn’t know what was going on with me. I’ve been chewing gum constantly and it works amazingly well. I use a bicarbonate throat spray for the pepsin in my throat.I also changed my diet completely and I’ve started acupuncture for treating my anxiety. In Chinese medicine this exact condition is caused Plum Pit Qi, they have specific herbs designed to calm the mind which works almost as good as pharmaceutical anxiety meds - for those who prefer the natural route. This is a condition I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy. But I’m so thankful that this is actually a condition and not just in my head. I’ve ordered You are the Placebo, it’s arriving today.. cannot wait to get into it. Thank you for this channel and thank you for not making us feel alone in a terribly lonely battle

      You must be right, my mind is doing all this. I’m developing more weird sensations now, now I have weird smell from my throat I notice when I swallow my own saliva because I have glue like mucus all day long..
      I see redness and mucus in my throat but when I showed it to my doctor they all say oh it’s normal
      Isn’t that strange ? Am I hallucinating?

    • @sparker2803
      @sparker2803 7 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@gina933You are not imagining anything, it’s all real! The most frustrating part is that doctors make you feel like you going off your head because they cannot physically pick up what you are feeling, but trust me those symptoms are there and it’s real. I gave up on doctors and did self healing. It feels like a lifetime ago that I’ve posted this, and I must say I am 95% healed from my symptoms!
      I followed the acid watchers diet plan to the T.. and I’m still enjoying the maintenance diet with a few cheats here and there. I’m relatively living a normal life now. I still get the odd cough and clearing of the throat but that’s when I had a binge on all the bad foods.
      The great thing about the Acid watchers diet, is that you lose quite a bit of weight which aids in less pressure on your oesophageal sphincter, you end up with amazing skin and hair too! I’m on a high dose of collagen, Vitimin B complex and Vitimin D which I believe plays a role in controlling reflux. And I live off alkaline water. On the days when my throat feels inflamed, I make a hexane free organic castor oil pack and place it on my throat for about 30 minutes with a warm bean bag to aid absorption. I heard this helps with inflammation anywhere on the body and since reflux causes inflammation of the throat I thought why not, and would you believe it works!
      Honestly follow the acid watchers diet, try to eat steamed non-spicy alkaline food, and use Gaviscon alginate after meals.. you WILL heal ❤

    First thank u! I just recently found you. And the fact that you said you are healed to me, is everything! I’ve had this for two years after Covid, and just finally got diagnosed after being misdiagnosed for a bunch of different things that led to a ton of antibiotics and prednisone. Which I think just made everything worse. So after being on it for two years, I have not watched all your videos, but a few, I know it doesn’t happen overnight, but what is your best advice and have you written anything that I can get that might help me along the way. grateful beyond belief. If you can give me any advice, they can give me back my life.🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼❤️❤️❤️

    Hi Eddie
    I think I've been suffering from this on/off for 12 years.
    That's probably why PPis (taking these tablets on/off too) don't seem to work but docs keep prescribing these for me☹️.
    Symptoms have come back again and so stressed and anxious about it again.
    Keep up the good work

    I do have anxiety and I was able to recover from symptoms like heart palpitations, dpdr, catastrophic thinking, and all kinds of other anxiety induced symptoms. anxiety yet again has convinced me that this LPR thing is an external thing. I have yet to be diagnosed but I doubt they will ever say it is LPR. My symptoms came up on me while I was gaming one evening. I felt like there was some potato chips or almond debris stuck in my throat and that made me gag so hard that i ended up puking and having a full blown panic attack. since then i have trouble eating because my gag reflex is super sensitive, i have a cough and shortness of breath, constantly feel something going up and down my throat and all kinds of other GERD like symptoms. i feel so unique but i think you’re on to something here and the way i healed my anxiety the first time might be exactly how to heal this demon of LPR.
    anyone else relate to my symptoms of gagging and dysphagia?

  • @dannyp9210
    @dannyp9210 3 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    TLDR of your cure to to LPR seems to be 1) Exercise and 2) Tell your symptoms to f*** off (bonus: Chewing gum for short term relief). However, I experience symptoms such as cough, burping, throat clearing, shortness of breath and excessive mucus during exercising which takes away the fun from doing it and makes it a rather horrible experience (asthma like symptoms when trying to lift weights, run or whatever). Does this mean that for me, the most important point would be the part about telling my symptoms to f*** off (I have exercised regularly ever since I started getting LPR symptoms in end of 2016)?

      Yeah, that bit was pretty weird, wasn't it? "In space, in space, in space..." 🤣
      I tried to do it, but I didn't get very far. I think, for me, it was more just listening to his overall message that helped me. It made me believe I hD the power, within me, to heal.

    My lpr gets aggravated by eating late and lying down it never fails I have been testing myself to see .. I noticed when accepting this choking feeling that it subsides a bit and the next day it gets better but stress also aggravates it I noticed when Iam mentally busy with work and running errands I tend to forget about it , and when I come home Iam reminded off all my problems and it gets aggravated…

    • @Eddiestephenslpr
      @Eddiestephenslpr  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was convinced, for a while, that eating shortly before bed was messing me up, but, after testing myself, I've actually found it doesn't seem to make any difference to me. Having said that, it's generally considered better not to eat for a couple of hours before bed, so I try to do that.
      Totally relate to the being distracted with work and then feeling worse once I get home. That used to happen to me all the time.
      Good luck. 👍

    Exercising worsens my symptoms, possibly because of increased abdominal pressure, along with inadequate sleep and breathing issues associated with LPR.

      @gourav9608 If that's the case, don't do it. I would say, there was a period where I felt like my symptoms were made worse by exercise, but it was more anxiety than the LPR that was exacerbated. And it got better over time.

      I have not been diagnosed by my doctor but upon watching the videos here and others, my symptoms are of LPR. Not GERD. However, I have noticed a slightly white coated tongue. I have not self diagnosed myself on that yet. I am just trying to heal my insides and for the most part I am much better. Now and then the throat tightness and mucus come about but last for half and hour. It was worse a month ago, with acid reflux. Now it’s just throat reflux… I’m reading about pepsin. Most importantly im calming my nerves, and alleviating stress. This covid crap has put a damper on my business. This all started in late March. All will be good! I’m optimistic and grateful for your videos. They’re hilarious and I believe you speak facts. The social media group on LPR gives me more anxiety. Thanks again!
