Thank goodness the wooden floor wasn't down when the rain came in. Glad you've had a better experience with Magnet than I did (many years ago). The kitchen is looking so good, love the colour on the doors. So excited to see next week. Stay safe🤗

The choices you have made in lighting, hardware, cabinetry are absolutely beautiful! I can only imagine what joy you will have using it for the first time! It has made a significant difference to your work space and usability. Well done on all of your design and accessory choices. Overwhelming I’m sure, but so worth it. I’m so happy for you both, oh and Maggie too!
As a kitchen designer, I absolutely love your choice of pulls and knobs. They’re gorgeous but don’t take away from the cabinets. I’m looking forward to seeing the counters, tiles, and flooring. Also love the full size fridge and freezer.

How exciting, it is all looking great and nearing completion, hard to live with, but well worth it. 😊
Not being funny but your builders should have covered the window opening with a tarpaulin when they took the existing door out. They should have known rain would pour through the gap behind the wood.
They deal with this kind of stuff all the time and should have ensured it was watertight.
Guys look how far you’ve come in a short time kitchen is looking stunning.
I found myself smiling throughout just so happy for you and obviously looking forward to future kitchen content.

On the cellar. I remember my Nan having a very small coal cellar, next to the chimney breast which was located under the stairs. It had a door to it. I think that is what you found. Coal cellar space. Kitchen really coming on. Looking great, exciting times.

What an update - so much has been achieved, and Zara is a natural presenter, and you will both soon be able to enjoy the end result of chaos turned to calm and inviting. Poor Maggie, her head must be in a spin with day to day changes. She’ll miss the ‘workers’ for a few days once they all disappear.

I know that the flooding was bad at least nothing was damaged and the extra cost of doing drainage new pavers is a pain it is needed aargh

Lovely to see how your kitchen is coming together, really like the door handles and knows. It's a shame about the leak but better to find out now before any great damage is done. Apart from that everything has gone smoothly. Great to see Zara doing an update xx

I love your 3 wall lights, the look really nice, the outside ones I’m not sure about ( they’ll look lovely once they’re up I’m sure). The builders have done so good and they’re so tidy too. Hello Luke and Zara. I hadn't had a chance until now to fully watch this video, and I was so much wanting to take a peep into the kitchen renovation. It's going to look just marvellous. You two have chosen so well everything. One thing I would say, as I was obsessed with it when I renovated my kitchen, is that you switch the washing machine and dryer's doors. It is much more practical to open them so that they leave the two entrances next to each other and the doors to the sides. I know dryer doors can be switched easily, but I'm not sure about the washing machine.

Oh Luke I was waiting for this update on your kitchen progress and was not disappointed. It's looking great so far and I can't wait to see the reveal when it's completed. It's going to look fabulous😃. There's always going to be hic-cups with any building work but you seem to have it all in control. You wouldn't believe the trouble we had with the installation of our kitchen from 'the company we no longer name' . What we ended up with wasn't what hoped it would be and lessons have been learned. Looking forward so much to your next vlog. Hugs to gorgeous maggie🐶

I feel your pain with the flood, totally my fault for leaving the hose pipe switched on, but I came home from my daughter's wedding late at night to find my kitchen under water. The pressure had built up in the hose connector and exploded....
I can laugh now but at the time all I could think was oh no ive ruined my Ruby Shoes lol.
Yes kitchen floor awash but my shoes were key concern!!.

Your kitchen is going to be so fabulous! It's great to have builders who are so caring and efficient. We didn't have as good an experience with Wren kitchens and have had to live with the consequences of the surveyor measuring up wrongly. Then they had the cheek to invent a 5* review supposedly from us!!

I would go in and add your review disputing what was obviously from one of the workers do they could score points. So sorry you had a bad experience.

Well that drainage issue is best to be handled now so your home is safe. There always seems to be extra expense no matter how big or small.

Another fab vlog. It’s coming along so quickly. When we had had our new kitchen fitted a week later we had a water leak from the bathroom into our new kitchen 😮. I totally empathise with your water leak. It’s so frustrating and unexpected expenses always seem to occur when you least expect them to. ❤
