I went to see A Christmas Carol at the Old Vic and loved it! More impressions here ⥠th-cam.com/video/_WO9BrnuxeQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=WZWfRh8GEHtgU1o7 ð
My choice for a Christmas trip to London this year will be Cameron Mackintoshâs new production of Oliver at the Gielgud Theatre, which is a transfer of the highly successful Chichester Theatre staging and is directed and choreographed by the brilliant Matthew Vaughan.
Woh all excellent suggestions. Old Vic A Christmas Carol seen many times / best productionâĶ..Royal Albert Hall- got tickets for John Rutter Christmas on 5 DecâĶ..Cadogan Hall previously made annual trip to see Christmas Cracker concertâĶ..Barbican saw Clare Teal/Guy Barker in Christmas concert thereâĶ.. and St Martins - my sister sings there !
Couple of other suggestions : 1) obviously TKTS website on day tickets (from midnight) 2) for day trippers Old Vic evening performance often starts at 7pm and finishes around 9pm so with adjacent Waterloo well connected, still chance to catch last longer distance train (what Iâll be doing on 29 Nov) 3) with it closing in early January recommend checking out Guys and Dolls at Bridge Theatre
