Great looking cart. Very functional design. Also, very useful information on all the adapters needed for different tools. I've decided to build one very similar to this. You both have a great channel! Keep it up :)
First, I could listen to you all day! Second, I just made a hose attachment for my Kreg K5. I used a tapered vac tube about 1.5 feet and plugged it into the K5 port. I let it lay at an angle to my wooden base. Then I drilled hole in a stainless steel hose clamp. I did that by attaching it to a scrap PVC tube about the same size as the vac tube. I used my drill press with a good metal drilling bit and supported it with a V shaped piece of angle aluminum that becomes the base to hold all this for drilling. You need some oil and I also had to plan where the hole should be for tightening reasons and so the tag end of the clap is not sticking up. That had to be trimmed and man, they are sharp. Then I just put a screw in the clap and screwed it into my base. My flexible vac tube from my vacuum fits right in. This keeps that damn Dust port on the K5 from popping off. 1 week so far and I'm happy with it all!
Paint the base and top DeWalt Yellow! I took a 1x1 inch square from my DeWalt drill box-wrap and have the paint guy color match it! You'll be glad you did it. Looks even more pro AND custom! Great job Nomad Studio Lady!

Thank you. Nice, not too complicated. You've given me a reason to finally use my pocket hole gizmo! The rubber adapter info is particularly useful. (The hose is n/a in UK, Europe!!.) But one that is $6 is 50€ on Amazon France!! Holy crap.
Very good cart and good information about adapting common plumbing parts for dis collection. I know it works since I have done the same with them and now I can build the cart. I am not happy with the separate pieces. The bucket always falls over during use. It's annoying. Cheers.
Thank you for sharing your build! It looks great! One question though. I noticed that you used some screws through the face on some of the lipping and L-brackets carrying the bulk of the dustopper shelf. Could this not be completely done with pocket hole joinery like the top and bottom stretchers?

I love the design, but $180-worth of Plywood (two 4x8x3/4 sheets) ain't happening today...
You only need half a sheet of plywood. 3/4"thick 4'x4' sheet - 1no.
