Hi guys, thanks for making this video! Love the last part of downhill riding. By the way, it should be PR1600 instead of PR1000 in the headline. You will get more searches and views if you correct the headline cause people won't find it with PR1000.

I have a ravemen cr 700. They are good bright flashlights but very bad for bike riding. They are powerful but the optic is not good. In general i like Lupin lights. Expensive but they are the best ...

I had the Ravemen PR1600 Bicycle Headlight that I purchase aug. 01, 2021. Until now the remote worked without issues. Now the remote only works sometimes. I've changed the batter and did the 'Repairing'. As far as batter life, I use a Power Bank when cycling most of the time. On dark roads I need the high setting as seen in my night cycling videos. This video will show how I carry the Power Bank on my bike www.youtube.com/watch?

Realistically how much lumens do you want? Like what's the minimum most people would recommend getting? Is 800 low? Is 1000 a good sweet spot for brightness/battery life?

Depends where you're riding. We also have the Pr800. Great for bike paths, probably ok for bush trails but can turn the PR1600 down if you want to save power.

I've got the CR800, in the pitch black it lights up everything, say 30metres ahead, and maybe 10metres wide.
Can't think of why you'd need more, and it should be less of a battery drain too.

i have cr1000 and its more brighter 11:20 than on this shot, its more spectacular. Calibrate your ISO before recording

Will Cr1000 get really hot on 1000 lumens? The niterider I am using is burning on 900 lumens.

It gets warm but I wouldn't say burning hot. It is a great light for the size. When I ride with my son he uses the CR1000 head mount and I use the PR1600 bar mount.

@@startingpointmtb1881 Thank you. Ordered one because of on the go recharge, remote and middle mode that provide 600 lumen...
Are u getting backup as claimed for high and middle mode?

@@YUTfan2 Not sure what you mean by backup?

    • @YUTfan2

@@startingpointmtb1881 I mean run time. Catye claims 2 hour run time on 1000 lumen and 2 hour 45 minutes on 600 lumen. Are you getting the same?
