I've always said 'When we move, we'll get Guinea Fowl'. We have not moved but we have Guinea fowl. I could not help myself. I saw someone who had hatching eggs and thought yay! Small side note: I assume that we will move within 2 months. If this is not the case and the Guinea Fowl are causing too much noise for our neighbors here, we will take them to friends of ours who have a farm. They have more poultry from us and they love it because all the animals are very tame. BUT for now I'm not going to assume that and I'm cuddling Guinea Fowl all the time. They are standing in the hall because Mimi doesn't come there. Mimi is not interested in them yet, but she does have a hunting instinct so we don't want to trigger her by having them in her sight all the time. She does the meowing you heard in the background when the door is closed and she can't be with me. Mimi follows me around all day long.

Loulou looked like her mothering instincts were kicking in, but she wasn’t sure what she was mum to. Both dogs were extremely sweet
its unbelievable how Loulou is gentle with other animals...I think she feels they are puppies but just different species...and they also feels she is mommy ❤❤❤

I still can't believe how gentle the girls are with other animals. My little guy was a monster in his younger days and his prey drive was out in full force around little furry critters - especially squirrels.
Loulou is such a good mother. The chicks naturally gravitate toward her.
It was interesting watching CC stay close to her mom just in case those little peeps would try to become LL's favorites.❤🥰😎
Loulou immediately took the chicks into her motherly hug ❤ Coco tried as well, but soon realised that motherhood isn't for her and was trying to escape from the birdies 😂 The baby birds are adorable 🥰

When 2 of the chicks found a nice spot under CoCo the look on her face as she glanced at you was so funny. As if she was thinking " I don't know what these are doing really!" I was wondering whether Mimi could be around these babies since they're often part of her diet. I've seen the look some cats have when birds are involved and I wouldn't trust one around my Lovebirds ever. Our cat didn't have chicks for dinner, but I knew he wanted to eat them!!
They must sense that Loulou is a mommy. They just seem to come to her naturally. So funny that they approach Coco and she backs away! 💕
