Hope your van is working out for you. I have a 2014 NV model. Be sure and change the transmission fluid every 20 thousand miles. Those CVT transmissions have a tendency to fail. Don’t overload, and try not to accelerate to hard. Every 50,000 miles the filter and pan should be cleaned of metal shavings. Should be able to get 200,000 miles out of the transmission if all this is done.

have a 2017 stripped down model. fabulous so far not one mechanical problem. every week people ask me if I will sell it. minivans are a hot item as these are discontinues and there is a one year wait for a ford transit connect. on craigslist I could get what I paid plus $5K more. I use it for art and craft fairs.

Congrats! I got an nv200 last year off Craigslist, and I love love it. We camp in it! We haul stuff, this last year I worked in it a bit even. Have you figured out how to lay the passenger seat down into flat desk mode yet? It's super handy. That one took me a while. Also, those tie down rings are the best! My mechanic was happy I got the Nissan instead of the other small ones (which I couldn't afford anyway) because they're easy to maintain and last well. Good choice! You will have success, your 'risk' is an informed one, your fam is with you, and you have a super flexible and value-stable item there. I see an amazing future for you. 👍🏻💪🏽

I had a silver Pathfinder and it was new had 11 miles on it. I remember when I got it I was afraid to drive it. Kingston likes it. :)

I dont understand why people ask the question "how much was it to fill up the tank?". it was cheap to fill it up because it has a really small gas tank, if it had a larger gas tank, it would cost much more to fill it up. Anyways, Nice video, im planning to buy one too. Hope you like yours.

Been looking at the NV200 for a business also. I wanted a smaller footprint vehicle. Like the fuel economy they are supposed to get. My question is are there any tie down rings in the floor? I also am looking to get a pop top roof on it for sleeping in it while on the road hauling. Got to get temperature control thru out the whole vehicle.
yes it has them and its also great on gas 4 cylinder
@@MsTaffys They must be under those flaps on the floor. That is what I am guessing because I would need to tie down stuff with ratchet straps

I wish they brought the 2022 redesign (aka the Nissan Townstar) to the US but instead they decided to just discontinue the vans and I hate that decision.
