21:28 to 27:00 was where the freaking magic happened for every section in the band. The bassline. Those trumpets (omg yal were up there). The 🔥 coming from this Captain. She draggggggged the Dolls with her squad matching for real. If got goosebumps. Every count was 🔥! Every facial. The uniforms. The hair. The balance of height on both sides of the ladies (I peeped that Directors-“brilliant btw”). The two ladies behind this Captain (omg!!!!). Every section WORKED and draggged SU on that one. I can’t lie. Best moment of the season. Wow. I’m a Stan. Lyric that count selection at 27:00 was stank nasty cocky everythingggggggggg! What a way to end the song. 10’s for ever section. The next song after that the symbols owned it. I heard yal.
This is what I was expecting in their series, the actual performance. They keep only showing small bits and not even the whole group. But I do love their dedication.
All these hating bashing comments but truth me told if these girls got the camera time that other teams did they would slay tf out of half these swac teams. I see no comparison in them to me they have their own style and I like their sensual bold sex appeal style which is very mature to me. A lot of teams look high schoolish and a lot of high school copy swac teams styles but you wouldn’t see a high school attempting the orchesis because their counts fit a college/adult environment which is what they are.
After rewatching this a couple months later, you helped me put into words their dance style. Because it's very different. I feel it's what you would see in the professional world. Live performances, music videos, on tour, etc. I can put their moves with a good bit of artist and it works!
After Morgan did the interview with the captain I had to go back and look at their performance. I must say they are really good. I would put them in my top 5.

Some are very similar apparently way back when two "sisters" split off the same high school dance line and so naturally some counts made it to both teams. I think they both have their own take on the few they have in common though
They are for sure amazing... the sitting breaks did kind of look awkward though. Didn’t think they’d be sitting on the chairs after every song. Kinda became too redundant for that much long of a routine. And everyone taking turns to do the same move 😭😩. And are they allowed to be this sexy ?? They are definitely a well rounded group of recruits for a sick Beyoncé music video 😋😊.
So nobody is going to mention the remixed counts Orchesis throw. I actually like the Orchesis, I just want originality. Will the real Orchesis stand up please because everytime I watch them I see the other teams...Black Foxes, GGs Jsettes, Stingettes, and Dolls.

I don’t understand why they aren’t in sync... are they a team or just a group that does the dance individually? The moves are very sexualized too seriously do we need to promote that? To nice young ladies it seems a bit much. But they all look beautiful
Because they don't dance together enough to form a bond nor feed off each other. The placement is different weekly because the team is different every week due to Orchesis holding weekly field auditions. This is what drastically holds them back as a top tier team, they lack togetherness and look like they're competing against one another because they're not cohesive. I Know it's traditional with the weekly tryouts and etc but they have so much potential to be an HBCU leading team it's time for a change
