Oh my goodness, that hostess cookbook is just stunning!! You should totally do an end-to-end complete menu from it... maybe make it a series?? That potato book looks like it was written for me... I sometimes think I'm part potato. That Fisherman's Wharf is such a fantastic snapshot of lovely places, and the watercolour work is gorgeous! I would love to see that whole tea time series as well. So sorry to hear that Dottie had another seizure, and I know she's getting a bit older, but glad you're able to take care of her so well and to hear how she's doing. Sending warm love and lots of Dottie pets! And congrats on the return to Ohio! I'm sure the winters are so much nicer in California, but I'm certain it will be nice to get back as well. Thanks for this excellent update Anna!
Ooh a series is a great idea! Definitely going in my planner for after we are settled back in Ohio. I just couldn't leave the Fisherman's Wharf book behind, even though most of the recipes would send me into anaphylactic shock. 😂 Thank you for the well wishes for Dottie. It is hard to see her struggle, but we are so very lucky to still have her in our lives after all these years.
Since you guys are working closely with the vet, I'm sure the amt of beef jerky is ok. Like you said, as long as she gets her pills. We have a Texas Heeler, Blue Heeler and Aussie, and he is missing his gallbladder and 7 teeth because he lives life to the fullest. When I give him his medication, I have to tell him the little story about him being a world series pitcher and both teams are watching him, he's making history, and then I say oooooooopen and he actually opens his mouth and I poke the first half down. He will not take it on his own. He loves the little story where he's the hero of the world series ball game lol

Im so sorry to hear Dottie is still having seizures. She’s such a beautiful girl and she has awesome parents that make sure she’s getting the best care ♥️ Congratulations on moving back home.

Thank you. We are so incredibly lucky to have had her in our lives for this long! It is definitely not weird, I am also happy we are returning. 😄 Maybe we could even plan an Ohio meetup in the future!

I love cookbook, I do tend to collect them but not necessarily vintage ones.
I have a mix of both vintage and modern! They're so much fun to collect.

I’m a fairly recent new viewer so I’m going back and watching videos. I remember the kids party book from when I was a kid! That really takes me back. Now I want to start collecting cookbooks. And I’m a fellow Ohioan.
That is my dream house on the cookbook too 🤣 . Yes have some friends over do 5he menu that would be awesome. I go back to watching now.

I don't think I've ever seen the children's party cookbook, but now I'm on a mission to find it, lol! Hopefully your sweet Dottie starts feeling better soon. Wishing you an easy peasy relocation back home. At least you'll be settled in before the holiday season starts. Thanks for sharing!
The children's party cookbook is hilarious. Can you imagine sending your son to another child's birthday party where they smell Merthiolate and mouthwash as a party game? 😂 Thank you for the well wishes for Dottie. She is moving more slowly these days, but her personality still shines through in different ways. I'm very thankful our move is taking place before it starts snowing!

Awesome cookbooks. I have some new ones I am excited about. I understand about an aging dog, we have a schnauzer and it is getting hard on him to go up and down our stairs. Good luck on your move.

Oh no/ very sorry to hear about dotties struggles. And I cannot believe you are leaving the west coast before meeting up!!! Well thank goodness I’ll be in Ohio next summer/ would love to see you!!!!!
Thanks Jim. I know, we were trying to plan an anniversary trip for May, but then Dottie's health took a turn and things just didn't go as planned. OMG you're coming to OHIO! I'd love to meet up next summer...maybe we could meet with Stephanie too!

New subscriber 8/22. I also collect cookbooks. All dates of cookbooks. I am finding vintage cookbooks may be so much fun to collect more of. I find cookbooks as being a history of our past that's fun to enjoy having in pictorial vintage cookbooks. Love from Ky. 👍👍💗💗

I lived in SD for 53 years (all my life ) until I moved here

I use braunswager,to wrap pills for cat anddogs.my dog beggged for her meds because she loved braunswager so much
Oh what a great idea! I can see that working out really well.
I make liver bites to give mine pills. They are easy to make. I have a video on them. It is hard to keep videos going when moving. I didn't post for 2 months when I moved and I just moved 10 miles away. 😆 Good luck with everything. That's a long move so stay safe on the road.
I had high aspirations of posting our 'road trip' along the way when we moved here. It was so stressful and crazy I just couldn't do it. 😂

Sorry if I missed your last few videos, I was on vacation and just got back. I’m going to try to go back and watch what I missed. Prayers for Dottie.
Hi Sonia! Dottie is 16 years old. We are incredibly lucky to have had her with us for so long. We are moving because my husband has gotten permission to go fully remote for his job! Most of his team is distributed throughout the country, and he only goes into the office once (maybe twice) per week. It doesn't make a ton of sense for us to stay here when he's not physically going into the office very often and we have a house in Ohio. I hope your vacation was amazing!!
