No sir if you charge 100 amps battery then you need minimum 10 amps transformer otherwise it charges slowly times take 2 or 3 days to complete charge

If you cut off the charge at 14 volts, the battery will be charged to 80%. After the voltage rises to 14.4 volts, you should wait for the current to drop to at least C/20.
