Traveling To Explore Small Station of Kot Mul Chand | Pakistan Railways VLOG

- There are many small Railway stations in Pakistan especially those which are situated on Branch lines. We decided to do some railfanning and trainspotting on such small station named, "Kot Mul Chand".
Kot Mul Chand is a small village near Shahdara and technically falls in Sheikhupura district. It is first railway station after Shahdara on Shahdara - Chak Amru branch line.
We, three railfans decided to do some railfanning at this small station and reached there on our motorcycles. Now a days only one train is working on this route. We captured its both UP and DN trains here. After completing both actions at this small station, we moved to main line station named Kala Shah Kaku, which will be shown in part 2 of this VLOG.

Thank u! thank u! Thank u for making this vlog. U hv no idea what it means to me and my family in India. The land of Shahdara used to belong to the family of my maternal grandfather (nanaji, shri Khairati lal Trehan) before partition. They were the Shah of Shahdara. The land for this railway station and railway line was donated to the British by my great great grandfather . He didn't want any compensation for all this land but he wanted the station to be named after him. Hence the name Kot Mulchand. I have searched so many times on Google for any video showing Shahdara but now we r seeing it. They had this big haveli of 60 rooms in Shahdara which they had to leave behind and flee to India. Thanks once again for showing us the place where my family comes from.🙏
Aapka bahut shukriya, hame wo jagah dikhane ka jahan se mera parivar aata hai. Mere nanaji, jinka naam Khairati lal Trehan tha, Shahdara ke zamindar the, jise unhe partition ki wajah se chorna parha tha. Kot mul chand ka station mere parh parh nanaji ke naam par hai. Iski zameen unhone angrezon to donate ki thi aur kaha tha ki is station ka naam unke naam par ho. Iske liye unhone zameen ka paisa nahin lia tha. Humne Shahdara ki bahut baatein suni hai, lekin aapki wajah se humne use aaj dekh bhi lia. Aap andaza nahin laga sakte aapne hume kaisa tohfa dia hai. Aapko humari bahut bahut duaein. Shukriya🙏

Btw my naniji used to tell us that river Ravi was visible from their haveli in Shahdare, so their haveli must be somewhere near to this place. So was wondering,If possible and if it suits , could u pls make a video of it. We would be really grateful😊 God bless

Pakistan Railways can learn so much from Indian Railways.
Mulchand is now a main thoroughfare in south delhi. Maybe the original immigrants came from kot mulchand after partition! Very quiet place and nice video. I always thought that coaches for trains beyond lahore were not exceeding 10 or 11. Pleasant surprise to see allama iqbal carrying 17 coaches. Keep up the good work and warm regards.
