I know this is an older video, but thought I’d add my two cents. About 65 years ago, I played there as a kid. You could see the skeleton full length of the ship all the way down to the end and the sides were much higher. Gradually it got more and more buried until some years back a freak storm on the Oregon coast uncovered a lot of things, like the petrified forest further south. I was lucky enough to get to see the wreck during that time as well. It wasn’t quite as uncovered as it was back in the 50s, but it was still nice to revisit. Thanks for bringing back childhood memories. We also played at Battery Russell as well.

I remember this wreck from more than 50 years ago. There was much more of it back then. It must be 15 years since I have been out to the wreck.

Very nice... my parents used to live over in Hammond that is maybe 15 or so minute drive from there. Last I visited along with my brother, we went there to fly kites. The tide was out so it was exposed on the sand and you could easily walk up to it. Now they and I live more north up in WA.

If you like wrecks, there’s a bunch of them in Royston on Vancouver Island. We call them the royston wrecks.

There's a small story on it but you have to wade through a bunch of advertising

If you like it, it isn’t worth complaining. If you need to complain, you don’t really like it.

Destination Adventure wow was not complaining trying to help actually. Maybe a basic flashlight might make your videos better. Was gonna subscribe but you seem rude so keep using your infrared black and white camera.
