Let’s say next century, if earth still exist, people will understand what special kind of genius he was. Meanwhile, I guess we are just fucking lucky to be aware of how lucky we are to witness his talent while he is alive. No joke, his music is one of the few reasons that make me want to keep on living.
The live recording of this song gives me the shivers every time😫 If y’all haven’t heard it plsssss do!!! Lookup king krule live at the pitchfork, it blends in with rock bottom.

I completely disassociate King Krule and Archy Marshall. To me they are two different people with two different musical abilities. King Krule's work is immensely depressing but a necessity for the soul, and I will always love him for diving deep into himself for 6FBtM. Archy Marshall's use of trip hop beats and floaty synths reminds that of the late J Dilla, and his album is just amazing. I hope that Archy Marshall continues to make more music under as many monikers as he wants, under as many as he needs.
one day I was smoking bud , me and my friend , were from L.A we were crusing around this big park w a long as road , it was a Friday so everything was empty and lonely then he suddenly lit the blunt and I put this song and it was the best trip fucking ever , in a car the bass sound different , try it , oh then we tried so the same when we were going home , this time was in the freeway and I brought down the Windows , it was hell if a trip wow
Hey guys, here's what I think the chords are. Tuning (everything is a half step down, except for the 6th string, which is 3 steps down from E.) : Eb Bb F# Db/c# Ab C# BPM: 104, 4/4 common time. 1st chord (all chords are bar chords) Eb 2 Bb 2 F# 2 C# 4 Ab 0 C# 4 2nd chord: Eb 2 Bb 3 F# 2 C# 4 Ab 5 C# 0 3rd chord: Eb 7 Bb 7 F# 7 C# 7 Ab 7 C# 9 4th chord #1: (this moves quick) Eb 3 Bb 3 F# 4 C# 5 Ab 3 C# 5 4th chord #2 (only the pinky moves) Eb 3 Bb 3 F# 6 C# x Ab 3 C# 5 Back to 4th chord #1 repeat to 1st. There's also a another chord that is played when the drum beat changes, but I can't seem to figure it out. I think this is the most accurate, hopefully this helps.
Ofc, the live version is different. He most definitely doesn't play this version when live because of the hassle to tune down each instrument for one song. Also the sliding/hammer on solo part is on f#/the 3rd string, it goes like 2/4, 2, 2/4, 4/7 repeatedly.
he is planning to release some material soon but second album is still in work. He preformed live in london on froday for a pound! Hopefully doing some more live stuff.
truly boggling that this is a bonus track of his. most artists would kill for a song like this in their discography
hahhaha so true
Cause it was replaced by rock bottom
Emotions I didn’t even know I had come out when I listen to any Krule. But this one brings nostalgia I hope will stay with me forever
Man, this guys music is so strong, hits me in the god damn feels every time
1:15-1:45 is quite possibly the greatest 30 seconds of music iv'e ever heard. So honest and poignant yet slick.
it's so potent, i think 'honest' is the perfect choice of words

It's on his live album too (you heat me up you cool me down). Fits the song really well
Love this song. So many memories that are dead and gone...
the drums, the little hammer on guitar riffs, the lyrics, his music is so genuine
The guitar riff gives me life
he just cures me in ways I can't describe
Wow the one time he sings in his upper register, and only the Japanese get to have it
Jordan Ross it’s ok, we have La Lune now at least😔
Wish I could see this live 😪
Still here after 7 years. Still pouring out.
been listening since 2021. going to keep listening for life, king krule/archy is my religion

Think I love this guy.
I thought baby blue was my favourite, but this is crazy good
This is what music is about it sounds so naturalistic and not fake at all like most other artists nowadays
king krule is one of my favorite artist since 2018 and just recently i've discovered this song, why???
Same dude. And I'm like I'm an idiot and archy would hate me lol
This song was only released on the album in certain countries if I’m not mistaken.
Me three 🖐🏼
This art piece of sound waves are so beautiful.
Girl I can't hold it down much longer
These waves are thrusting
They get stronger
Girl I wonder if I should ponder
Or just let it out
Pour it all out
See I'm bathed in doubt
(???)
Let it out, pour it all out
I'm bathed in doubt
Girl I let you down
Girl I was never there
Laying fully clothed while you lay bare
Man, looks like I might descend again
Broken down, I lost my friend again
Fucked her brains out and she might pretend
To be in love, to be in love, to be in love x2
I'll be above, I'll be above
I see above
Oh, girl, what's in store
There's nothing life-related
(???)
Just a long time ago
Met a girl
I know where I'll go
(Maybe for a little while
Can you make me feel a little wild...)
Girl I can't hold it down much longer
The wind is calling, getting stronger
Girl I ponder over little things
Over little, little things
Maybe for a little while
Can you make me feel a little wild..

why do the Japanese always get more songs on their versions???? Are we not good enough fans?
cus japan is fucking awesome
its because albums tend to cost a little more in japan so artist will throw in bonus tracks for incentive to buy.
***** probably just the exchange rate, pretty sure it's cheaper to import for them, and so to stop them importin' they give them bonus stuff.
***** thanks dude
Also Japanese are much more faithful CD buyers still
